More activity

Seeing as some of the regulars are getting them self banned over on ADV rider wondering if it might increase activity over here.. Owning a sidecar means you are a bit of a character anyways so entering into good discussion should go with that, Right?  Or am I asking too much ??

Brian, hopefully you are aware that a sidecar owner doesn't need to actually do anything wrong, or against the rules on ADVRider...to actually get banned.

The action taken by the mods is NOT necessarily a reaction to something that a person over there has done. Sometimes it is just a "favor" being done for a friend of theirs, that causes a mod to do that.  During the last 50,000 years of human history, nefarious things often do happen behind the scenes.

Ultimately, the true hacksters are HERE, and we are having a grand ol' time.

There must be a really good reason that on this website, and these forum pages, we are all referred to as Sidecarists, whereas on that other site, the hoosegow, they are all referred to as Inmates.

It appears that one of our fellow Sidecarist, @davefran is also in detention from the hoosegow, so.......welcome @davefran to the place where people are polite and respect one another.

I do know, or have heard from a very tall birdie, that the powers-that-be in the USCA will be meeting "today" to discuss things like making BIG changes to our website/server/provider, so that things process faster, and stop kicking people to the curb.

I would encourage all of you...yes....even those that live in Canoe, B.C., and those that lives on both sides of the great ponds that separate nations, to participate here as actively as possible, so that we warrant the potential/possible upgrades to our website, and justify the expenses of doing so.

This site has been a huge help between the "Sidecar library", and some very informative posts.  I'm looking forward to actively participate here.

Also took the opportunity to join USCA.

I would love for this forum to become the go to place for all hack riding women and men.  There is no reason it should not.

Well said Miles. I am going to try and be more active over here. I'll try to rally the masses up here in little old Canoe ( Best place in BC, but I am biased) to join and be more active as well.

Gday mate. I have a very good mate that went thru that "favor" over 10 years ago. Back then he would sneak back in from time to time under different aliases as he was usually trying to help out a traveller or offer up his knowledge. In the end he let it go as someone would always report him.

Anyways I digress.Shall keep popping in here and check things out and mention it to my riding mates.

The only reason I didn't come here very often in the past was because of the lack of activity. If this site becomes the "go to" place for information and camaraderie, I don't have a problem with that at all.

But if we all start posting up over here we're gonna miss out on all those cool ads on Adventure Rider!
