For me it’s the fact that I can bring a friend along. Or even two at times. But the best thing is just how much fun I have riding. Can’t wait for the adventures on the new rig. I will have one for the dirt. And one for the street

Even in my weakened state of mind, I cannot allow @thane-lewis to Calvin & Hobbs me:

Therefore, I offer up the real life versions:

A mate bought a 1500 wing recently.

Hard to get him to shut up about it.

And while I admire them it's most unlikely I will every own or even ride one.

Mind if we were to spend some time in the state's like we did in 2009 then yours would be looked at for sure.

Big and heavy outfits are something else altogether, they are not really what I would class as  sidecar rigs, they are more like soft top cars.

Great pictures Miles, somewhat of a rebel even then, awesome =)

Reminds me of my first sidecar outfit. It was an Arial Red Hunter 500 single with a chassis and no actual chair. I put a box on it and took my dad for a ride; he shit himself. Me too the first time the chassis wheel lifted; oh the joys and stupidity of youth!

Some people seem to think my headlight mounting solution is unusual? I just don't understand?

Hey I get it. I rode big Harley baggers all my life. Now, I'm 73 and ride a Sportster. No, it's not the same ride as my Harley Ultra was. It is more nimble and easier to handle. When I got Kent Silk to add a Ranger sidecar to it, the sidecar made it more fun. Like my military training, it got me thinking and I had to adapt. It's fun hearing folks say, "can the Sportster pull that weight?" "How fast can you run on the interstate?" Well, it's not a problem at all.

Three wheels?  All the attention?  I feel in love with SC’s in 2010 my 1st rig which at the time was my car.  Now I own two when I decided to give up 2 wheeling.   One for the pups and one for my honey!  Life is good.
