Anybody know anything about Hagon Grass Racing leading link front forks? I found one and it's mocked up on my 65 BSA A65, So I'm committed to it right or wrong! I'm guessing it will be racing specs and might be a bit squirrely on the street. So don't follow me too close. JTF

Very cool!
I had Hagon shocks on an '06 Ural. Didn't know they made Leading link forks. That's pretty cool. I just did a Google search, and learned something new.
Thank you! 👍
Will keep paws crossed the leading link setup is as good as their shocks.

Posted by: @jtf-mc-maddnesshere is a picture of my Hagon leading link front fork. I love it's brutalist simplicity. Let's hope It'll let me steer the damn rig? JTF

J Tim Finn, we need more information from you, before we volunteer to help.
Such as....what year is your BMW RT ? What brand...model...size...color is your around town Scooter.
What was your 2nd grade teacher's maiden name ?
Do you like cookies, or pie....or Pi ?
These are all pertinent to figuring out the proper use of a Hagon Grass Racing Leading Link installed on the frame of a 1965 BSA 650.
Good luck.....there will be a test.

What Miles is hinting at and I'm super curious about is the geometry of your front end.
And how it will work with the rake of your frame etc.
But regardless of how easy it will be to steer it should be better than stock.
Being a stronger and stiffer set of forks.
Do you know much of its history?
As in was it on a sidecar or a solo bike?
Look forward to seeing it come together.
Should be a great rig.
My BMW is a 2018 r1200 rt, white like the chp rides here in Ca. My city scooter is a honda Forza 300 My 2nd grade teacher was a catholic nun so mabey Mary? Hagon is stamped of the front fork,it's never been mounted. I tried to contact them but I think the kids there wern't around back when they made these forks. The guy at British cycle suply is getting me some shocks from Hagon, sez he knows a geezer there might have some history. I suppose it will be quick steering like a dirt bike, they seemed in the old pictures to drift the grass track sidehacks and being british they went counter clockwise with the sidecar wheek canted out and speedway slid the turns.
He He He ! They are gonna love that action on the streets of San Francisco
Here is the sidecar I found for my new BSA A65 rig...Can't find any MFG. info. It looks like a Shoe! Any ideas about it;s source? JTF

Okay.... that Hagon Leading Link was probably built by the same shop as the Wasp Leading Links. Do your searches for the Wasp racing Leading Link.

Miles thanks for the Wasp direction of research on my project.. FYI BMW guys are not all alike. Generalizing and Judging riders based on what brand they pick is obnoxious.

i've seen that same style sidecar tub around, but I can't think of which make/model it is. If my feeble brain remembers, it has to be popular. Someone here will know.
Bike is coming together nicely. When I looked at the picture of the leading link on the frame, my first thought was "wow! the head angle is really steep." Then I noticed you have it temporarily held in place with a piece of all thread, and not the stem/bearings. Yep, my eyes are getting feeble too. lol
