USCA was founded on being a supporting family oriented group for sidecar owners and their families.
The free Thursday night meal is sponsored by Texas Sidecar Company. There will be a donation bucket near the meal line to support the local children's charity CASA. 2020 was a rough year for the children of Mena, Polk County... and the rest of the country.
Though you might not see the evidence in Mena, Polk County is one of the poorest counties in Arkansas. We have selected CASA to benefit from various rally activities, including the Thursday dinner.
If we registered in 2020 and ordered shirts, will we still get the t-shirts?
Excited about the rally!
Thanks,
Butch and Penney
Yes there will be Rally shirts for those who registered last year. Everyone who registered last year was rolled over to the 2021 Rally list. There will be a packet for you at check in with name badges, wristbands, rally schedule, area information, door prize tickets, Checkers chip and more...you will receive a 2021 rally shirt in the size you ordered at check in. Only those who pre-registered last year or this year are guaranteed a rally shirt.
More rally activities are being added daily. Several new sidecar tech sessions have been added to the schedule.
We are getting number of requests from potential sidecar owners interesting in learning more about sidecars. They want to drop in for a day, see the rigs and ask questions of the owners. We welcome anyone who is interested in sidecars. Don't be surprised if strangers start asking you simple questions about your rig, where you got it, how much you paid for it, etc. We are not charging a rally fee for day visitors to walk around and look at the rigs. We encourage people to consider joining the sidecar community. You can best advise them on how to go about finding the right rig for them.
See you in Mena, bring the sunshine with you.
DH, If you'll be my monkey.... there are some Mena area logging trails with more bumps and switchbacks than that track.
Take a look at Charlie Mac's video from 2018 for a sampling of what to expect on the Domino Runs:

Nice video - thanks for posting.
Makes me even more bummed to be rig-less for the Rally. Can cars participate in Domino Runs😊

Only two weeks waiting remain till the start of the USCA National Rally in Mena, Arkansas. Come on and join the gang if you haven't signed up yet. It's not too late.
Sidecar Alignment by Texas Sidecar and Sidecar Suspension with Klaus are two Tech Sessions we have just added to the program. Here's your chance to see, meet, ask questions and get to know the people who are at the top of their game in the sidecar world.
If you have never been to a national rally, expect to be blown away by the diversity of rigs, expert knowledge walking around and friendly people of Arkansas. You will learn more about sidecars in a couple of days than what you learned on your own in a couple of years. Just by talking with other owners and asking questions.

Jon; You are right about all the expert advice. You can ask 50 people the same question and get 50 different expert answers. None of them wrong. Just different from the others.
You will meet the nicest group of people anywhere, except for a few old sore heads..Avanell and I expect to be there Thursday. Help all I can, just don't expect too much physical labor. More like registration or something. If Avanell is up to it,she might be able to help with 50-50. See you guys soon.
J.R.
Jon; Just checked with Avanell. We are supposed to be there Tuesday.
Couple of quick questions for the rally
1 will SCA have a goodie store at Mena like they have in magazine?
2 this one's for John and tech alignment seminar on Friday, any chance you need a voulenteer hack or a few dead presidents to use my rig?
Big shout out to John at CMA for finding me and wife a bunk cabin , Iron mountains a great place we go there several times a year . If anyone wants to stop by and gave an ice tea or coffee we will be there Thursday cabin 408
Stop by say hi and get you and your rig blessed by CMA of Denton Texas before we go off on adventures or ( guys if your like me and your better half doesn't ride and needs someone who kinda knows the area and wants to hang out send her over and let the wives hang out
Illegitemi non carborundum est!
We were looking at having a USCA Store at the rally, then we read up on Arkansas Sales Tax regulations and requirements... a no go. Sorry, hate to disappoint anyone, but a store is not to be.
As far as finding some one to take your better half for a spin in their rig, doubt you will have any problem finding that. Many are coming solo, just talk around and you'll find many rides for her.
Sidecar alignment is easy once you know the basics, Kent and John will be hosting that session. They might even coach you as you do yours yourself.
See y'all in Mena.
