Another month closer. Went to our monthly run to American Legion biker breakfast in Ephrata. 1000 bike parking lot meet and greet. Under a dozen old wings and only a hand full of hacks. Nice easy ride in Amish country. Dodging PA potholes and piles of horse fertilizer!
My only experience is with GL1100 and Terraplane. Original '82 rig bough new from dealer and current '83 with car added 5 years ago. With 30 year gap between.
I have a request for the willing inmates. Can we schedule a bike swap ride at least around the campground? I would love to have comparison of how other rigs handle. Mine's like driving a 75 mph tractor and am very okay with that. Other that a new front end (LL or TT) just don't know if there is something that needs attention.

Rick @rick-johnson, I would be honored to have you take my 2019 Goldwing w/DCT trans and Hannigan Dream sidecar rig for a drive, and see what you think of it. I have a feeling that MJ & John will also want to pilot my rig around for a bit, as they are interested in upgrading to a 2018+ Wing with the DCT transmission.
So, YES....you can take my rig for a drive

@rick-johnson Hello Rick! More than happy to let you take our rig for a drive around the campground. Looking forward to meeting you!
(The only place I'm driving Miles' rig is onto our trailer)

, I would love to come to this Hootenanny.....on account.... I never have been to a Hootenanny.... My only conflict is making sure I have all my ducks lined up for the Hoosier Beemer rally the following weekend.
Not sure what your cookout in-tales... but I would be happy to bring a couple of Dutch ovens for maybe some corn chowder, possibly some bread and if I can pry the recipe out of my daughter, her campfire bourbon-peach cobbler... Great opportunity to do a little pre-gaming for our rally.
I'll be in touch...
Ride-ON!
