After socializing and watching the lock in action we will take a leisurely ride  around Sebago Lake, with opportunities to view a few remaining vestiges of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal, returning to the Ocean House Farm for a real Maine Lobster Bake with lobster, steamers, corn on the cob, potatoes, and whatever else we can throw together.

For those having lobster, the price is $30 for 1 lobster (and all of the other fixings) and $10 for each additional lobster desired. Payment can be cash, credit, or Venmo, at the farm.

For those choosing no lobster, who wish to provide their own repast, a grill will be available.

To register for the Fifth Annual Northeast/Southern Maine Sidecar Social please complete this form so we can have an accurate count of attendees. We need to know how many lobsters we need.

I noticed the registration form says $25 for a single lobster, but note the actual is $30.  apparently the form has not been updated.

Just a reminder. The Fifth Annual Northeast/Southern Maine Sidecar Social is less than two weeks away. So, as a reminder:

For those either staying in local lodging, or who have trailered their rigs, or camped at the Farm and would to go to breakfast, see below. You should be leaving the farm by 6:15 AM.
If you wish to go straight to Songo Locks, you will leave the farm at about 7:30, Chris Jordan will lead the ride.

For those participating in the Breakfast Run, we are gathering at:
Kelly's Sebago Diner
862 Roosevelt Trail
Windham, ME 04062
at 7:00 for a nice breakfast before the Ride.

After breakfast, we will Ride to Songo Locks in Naples, about a 20 minute ride.

For those who are local and do not wish to go to breakfast, and not staying at the farm, meet at:
Songo Locks, Naples, ME
43.9319° N, 70.5800° W or
43.9320, -70.5773 Decimal coordinates
at 9:00 AM.
Songo Locks is the last remaining relic of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal, which carried freight from Harrison to Casco Bay.

We will depart the locks, and take a liesurely ride around Sebago Lake, possible stopping to see existing remnants of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal that operated from 1832 to 1847.

If you are planning to attend, please message me if you are riding to breakfast and how many lobsters you want. I need to give the Diner a heads up ast how many they will be feeding. And we need a good lobster count.

I was hoping to be there, but the planets are just not correctly aligned this year... Next year it will be a top priority.
