Oops...I did it again
That's cute! Looks like fun 😊
Ford or something else? My knowledge of such things is limited, other than a former pastor had a Ford with flathead V8 at their place in Cape Cod.
Illegitemi non carborundum est!
Nice, I believe that model Morris is a Traveller. Correct?
I have stories about everything, so of course I have a Morris Minor story.

BINGO...Chris has correctly identified the vehicle as a Morris Minor Traveller....and contrary to Thane thinking this may be some kind of a "Ford", it is the "something else" he also surmised.
The predecessor to this 1959 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller was my previous "Moogie"...a 1957 Morris Minor 1000 Salon Deluxe
I was aiming for, or shooting for, a 1929 Model T Touring car, or a 1935 Ford Model 48 Roadster, or a 1931 Ford Model A Panel Delivery....but alas...this Traveller popped up only 45 miles from me, and it was listed on Hemmings.com for all of 1 week, so I snatched it up.
And, to emphasize how small it is....it fit onto my BearTrack 82120S trailer, that is only 10 feet long.
Okay, it "almost" fit on the 10 foot long trailer, but...I made it fit, and got it home safely, so we can say...if fit...dang it.
The wheelbase is only 86"...but the overall length of this Traveller is 148", so, there was some overhang, both front and rear

Well done Miles.
Now all you need is the Mirror dinghy.
My little car is źźless than 12 ft long and only around 4' 6" wide.
With less than 2" clearance front and rear in my trailer.
Which engine does the the Morrie run?
You guys seemed to get an extra 100çc on what was built here.
And I believe they were built here.
Miles has a moggie HAH that's awesome. 1100cc of grins and total enjoyment!!

Bruce, all the time I was buying this Moogie Traveller, I was thinking of you, mate.
Unlike my '57 MM 1000 Salon Deluxe that had an upgraded/replacement engine from the original 948cc, it had the 1,098cc with dual SU carbs.
This MM 1000 Traveller has the stock engine, a 948cc with single SU carb, but it was just fully rebuilt 3k miles ago, when it had 88k miles on the clock. It now has 91k miles on it, and runs pretty darn good, but instinct tells me I will need to do a complete clutch job soon, which is a shame that they didn't do that when they had the engine out for the full rebuild.

That looks like incredible summer fun.
It is screaming out for a four legged travel partner.
Nothing like cleaning drool of the wood trim. 😉
Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

A Llama won't fit in the back of this Moogie Traveller. Maybe an Alpaca, if I can get it to stay kneeled down
And they spit...not drool.

When I was in USAF '60s I was looking for a small car, looked at a Fiat 850 Spyder, Morris sedan of some sort and a '57 VW Beetle, I decided on the Beetle as their popularity was really high. All of these were really tiny compared to American cars that I was used to. Fast forward to 2013 I purchased a new Mini Cooper hatchback, that car was only 146" long. Reluctantly traded it in 2024, needed something bigger and tired of the six speed manual in crowded Philadelphia PA city and suburbs.Yeah I'm getting old and cranky, "Get off my lawn"!Posted by: @brstrWell done Miles.
