Just saw this on my Facebook feed;

Varn Cummings passed yesterday, he will be missed by many https://www.peeplesrhodenfuneralhome.com/obituary/henry-varn-cummings  

I cannot LIKE that post above by my friend Steve Ives, because...Varn Cummings was a friend of mine, was the previous owner of the 1995 Goldwing sidecar rig that Steve Ives has for sale now, and Varn used to call me once a month just to compare weather between South Carolina and Washington.

I am going to miss that olde phart. 

Varn sounded like somebody worth knowing.

I only had the pleasure of meeting him at the Iuka rally in 2024.  You always knew exactly where he stood on the subject of eternity and he was very much a gentleman.  

I also only met him at the Rally in Iuka, I agree with Miles and Thane, he was a very nice and caring person 

I too met Varn at the Iuka rally.  Neat person, and would have very much enjoyed hearing more of his life's adventures.  

Sincere condolences to his family and friends.  

Varn was a great friend of the sidecar community, welcoming and supportive of all who participated in the sport we love. Varn saved my bacon when I ran out of gas on an ice cream run. Gas gauge read half full but it wasn't. 

Varn, may your heart be full of love and your gas tank full. You are missed by many you left behind.

Such a nice man! We met Varn at Sidecars in the Smokies a few years ago. 

I just looked  and confirmed that I have Varn as a speed dial on my phone...I  decided to save his name & number...not delete it, or him.
