This is the loudest horn I have ever heard, it really does sound like a train, and costs only $50 shipped.   I just ordered another one.

Train Horns Kit for Trucks, Super Loud Car Air Horn 12V 150db, Truck Horn Dual Trumpet Motorcycle Train Horn with Compressor for Any 12V Vehicles (black double tube horn with wire, 12v), Air Horns - Amazon Canada

Wow! That should get someone's attention! We have loud horns on our rigs and the few times he uses them, think it scares me more than the intended.  Surprised

I just went to town, it seems as if  people think the noise is coming from another vehicle rather than my little machine, it makes people jump. LOL

I was following a friend through KC on the way to the USCA Rally in Arkansas.  An unobservant person in a Nissan Pickup was completely unaware of my presence, despite much lighting of much brightness and colors started moving in right on top of me.  I think he soiled himself when I laid on the Goldwing's horns at close range.

My grandpa would have said he ran off like a scalded cat.

Be Careful... Know that not only do people Jump at Loud Horn...They tend to Slam on the Brakes..Naturally.. Be prepared for Brakes, and or Evasive maneuvers..Sometimes Right At YOU The "Beep Beep" horn don't get it...But a Regular Car Horn is Always Sufficient..For Me anyway!

For me at least the purpose of a horn is to alert other road users to my presence.     I am not the only deaf road user basic_smile

I had air horns on my 1500, had them wired to their own button mounted just below the stock horn button. I will say when needed they did the job of getting oblivious ones attention. I think the stock horns on the 1800 are good enough, so I put stock 1800 horn on my wife's 1500 trike to replace the meep meep that it came with.
