Thanks for the input on the spoiler and the light, Miles. I've sent another email to Justin about both these items and I'll keep you posted.
I couldn't figure out what you had been trying to achieve with moving the sidelight back - your explanation above makes perfect sense and, I would hope Hannigan has adjusted their production - but we'll see as I've asked them to do the same.
And, it sounds like the consensus is that the yellow light on the side is beneficial?
Hannigan has mysteriously figured out how to find and add a lighted spoiler to the sidecar and they have also agreed to move the sidelight on the sidecar to the same position as the light on the BattleWing. Thanks Miles!
Only downside now is that they won't be able to get to the install until mid-February. Hannigan tells me that they would like to have the bike for a couple of weeks. My plan is to have the bike shipped to them and then fly down to pick up the completed product. I asked if they could promise a completion date by the first full week of March and right now they are unable to promise.
So if you're looking to add a Hannigan sidecar expect a bit of a wait - the good news is that it's the winter and there is some time to get the build completed.

Talk about guaranteed employment. lol
Have you figured out the paint design yet? Spoiler is a very cool addition! 👍

IMO, the lighted spoiler is critical - the Hannigan web site says they are not currently available - I told them I might consider holding off until they are available and the, I believe, Mr. Miles had a conversation with them and whaddya know! They're available!
At this point, I'm just gonna have them paint the car the same color as the bike. I'll figure a way to tie both the bike and car together down the road...

As long as you are copying my sidecar rig (meant jokingly), you may want to simply have some "wrap" added in places to tie the bike and sidecar together. I can send you 50 pictures of all the places I had the wrap added to, on both the bike, and the sidecar, so you can get ideas from that. Just don't do Carbon Fiber looking wrap, as then we would know you are copying me.
And yes, the rear spoiler with brake light IS critical.

Hahaha! They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery!

Posted by: @bannerguySo at long last, my bike was picked up today for shipping to Hannigan! I will feel much better when, hopefully, I hear from Hannigan that the bike has arrived safely sometime next week!
Mike, aren't you in the Baltimore area ?
That is only 800 miles from your front door to Murray, Kentucky.
Barely a one day ride, or....two days if you had to trailer it to them, so you could drive back home.

Hey Miles - Yep, I'm in Baltimore and plan on flying down to pick it up. Unfortunately, with the unpredictability of weather this time of year, and my line of work, I won't be able to get down to Murray until later in April. But very much excited to get down there and get those first 800 - 1,000 miles on the new rig! The next three months will be filled with anxious anticipation!

I was close to taking that Red 2020 GW with sidecar home after they built if for the Sturgis show. Wife really liked it.
Looking to drive to Murray in February some and pick up parts that came off my bike. Depending on weather I hope to get the new Trike home in March.
And get the sidecar back road worthy.
In the end the journey is worth it.

Smitty - if it's towards the end of February, check in on my build!

Sure will. Had talked with wife about just getting away for a couple days Murray is 530-580 depending on the route and a easy drive.
There will be a bunch of parts for me to haul home and easier to do it sooner than latter.
So the bike was shipped with Keyboard Carriage. They did a great job with the shipping... ...until the very end. Apparently, removing the bike from the crate a bit of damage to the passenger side mirror of the bike ensued. But no worries, the shipping company is paying for complete repair which will take place at Hannigan. So, all is well that ends well. Keyboard Carriage was great to deal with through the entire process (assuming the mirror gets repaired properly!)
And now for the sidecar build and mounting!

I am a bit confused. Since when does a 2 wheeled motorcycle, let alone a Honda Goldwing, have a "passenger" side mirror ?
On a motorcycle, which mirror is considered the "passenger" side mirror ?????????????
