In 5 days I will be "Leaving, On A Jet Plane"...to fly to lands of heat, and traffic, to pick up another sidecar rig, this one specifically for my wife.

Of course, I need to pilot it home for her, since...doing exactly that is MY Thing.

We have already given this new-to-her sidecar rig a name...Mobius

Anyone care to venture...even a "wag" (wild ass guess) as to what this rig might be ? I Dont Know

Chris, that is indeed a WAG, but I must say.....you are looking in the opposite direction.

Hint: It is NOT a Honda, and most certainly not a BMW.

Laugh

"It's not a Honda"... 😲

Are you feeling okay Miles?

Seems like somewhere a planet just got blasted by a deathstar.

Can't wait to see what the Mr.s will be driving. 😎

Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

With 4 days to go before I am... Leaving, On A Jet Plane

Here is hint # 2:  The current owner/seller received this from Hannigan, and did the installation of the sidecar to his bike himself.                              He has done several sidecars himself, knows what he is doing, and...is still alive to talk about it, so what could go wrong ?

OK, WAG #2. Connect the dots, my first bike at 16 was a quasi flat track 80cc Yamaha that I rode on the streets of a little place called Green Valley Lake. We had a ski slope in town which is the only time I tried snow skis. A mobius is also a snow ski trick. So this time I guess Yamaha. My thought process is odd sometimes... basic_smile

Chris, I love your thought process...albeit it is wrong, but that can sometimes lead to things that are fun.

Coincidentally, my very first bike was a 1965 Yamaha Riverside Campus 60cc at 16 years old.                                                                              Went from that, directly to a brand new 1974 Norton 850 Commando.

BTW, the term Mobius can also come from the word "Moby", as in Moby Dick, the great White Whale, but a lesser version of that Great White Whale might be called a "mini-moby", or....a Moby-Us....or a Mobius

See, I too can have a thought process that is odd sometimes. Laughing Out Loud

After receiving the crate pictured in my previous post, he dared to open it, and out popped....

Steve, close, but in the USA we require correct spelling, not the King's English.

2018 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive w/Hannigan Classic

01515 1c1CndLEUzL 0CI0pO 1200x900
00L0L lMCduAY0L3 0CI0pO 1200x900
00d0d crzeBERihe3 0CI0pO 1200x900

Burgman....bUrgman....not Bergman...for Pete's sake. basic_smile

Yes, but.....incorrect spelling of the motorcycle model name disqualifies you for that box of Stroopwaffles.
