‘Hope these pictures post. This is my new rig, namely a Triumph Bobber and Watsonian sidecar. Texas Sidecar Company rescued this rig and got it painted and together in six month due to his other customers ahead on me. Many thanks to James Screiber, a fellow Marine and USCA member, who subsequently drove 50 miles to visit me twice, and correct my tire rubbing against the fender by grinding bolts sticking out from the turn signal assembly. I’m now out every day getting familiar with the rig, and reading Driving a Sidecar Rig and teaching myself.
Although my patriot ancestors fought the British long ago, my enchantment with English motorcycles was born in the early 70s as I fell in love with my first motorcycle, the 750cc Bonneville. I would go on to own Harleys, but always came back to Triumphs.
The notion of owning a sidecar was born by my love of the designs from the 1930s.
Wow! What a beautiful rig. 🤩
Glad you are putting it to good use. I'm a big fan of Triumph and Watsonian. What a great pairing. 👍
Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃
Welcome fellow watsonian owner.
That's a fabulous looking rig.
Hi Paul: Thanks for posting photo's of your rig. I recall you telling us about the rig at the Sidecar Muster at the Rusk KOA, back when the sidecar was still on order. Very nice!

@miles-ladue I thought I would provide an update. I ordered the Ranger sidecar from TSC and dropped off my 2005 Goldwing with Kent this past Friday. I learned so much in just 30 minutes with Kent. Flo had sent me progress pictures a couple of weeks ago, and I took some more when I was there. I'm scheduled to pick up this Thursday with some training from Kent. I am so excited. So here are some pictures, including a few of the Wing on a trailer and, lastly, as a 2-wheeler. 🙂

@webmaster My name is Jerry, I’ve been riding a 2013 Ural Tourist for seven years. It’s been a solid, dependable daily driver but I’m sure you all know Ural is no longer producing repair parts so it’s time to look at options. I’m sold on sidecars and ride a lot but not aggressively off road or anything like that. I live in the NC Arkansas Ozarks on the White River and trout fish almost as much as I ride. I live at the end of ten miles of washboard National Forest road so whatever I ride has to be fairly robust. I’m joining to learn what I can about the various rigs out there before I start seriously searching for a replacement. Mine is still going strong (well, as strong as any Ural can) but my teeth itch if I don’t have a bike to ride so I’m hoping to find a replacement before something ugly happens. Also my dog looks at me like I owe her money if she goes more than a day or two without a ride. I learned a tremendous amount about my current ride from a dedicated Ural site and look forward to learning from all of you. Thanks.
Yeah, them itchy teeth can be a real bother! If you’re of a mind, please join us all in Mena on the other side of the state June 4-6 for the National Rally at CMA Iron Mountain between Mena and Hatfield.

I would like to but have previous commitments. Is it held there yearly? I think I’ve seen notices for it before.

Not held there annually, but we were there in 2021 (should have been 2020, but…you know)
