Miles.

For a bloke that made his living by hitting things with a hammer.

That was good advice.

Just a very few more pictures to post, and these will tickle certain folks, (here's looking at you, Bruce Carson) that are into Moto Guzzi V7 rigs, and ....a 1953 Zundapp w/replacement BMW 750 engine, but a Stein Sidecar....the real thing !

That's a nice Guzzi. Be interesting to have a chat with the owner.

But the Zundapp is a bit special for sure.

Is that a Stieb sidecar? The other name is a cup for holding German beer???

Bruce, neither of us got it right.

My error was due to spell check, and it's attempt to correct my Steib to Stein.

Your error is in placing the I before the E.

Correct spelling is:  Steib

However, the Steib Sidecar tub could hold several gallons of German beer 🍻 🍺 🍻 friday

Now that 2025 USCA National Sidecar Rally is over, in the books, and some of us are not even halfway home yet....I want to give a very big shout out and recognition to Tom Gerken, this year's Rallymaster.  He did a GREAT job, great attitude, great ideas, and he deserves all the credit that everyone can give him.

THANK YOU,  TOM GERKEN  Grinning

Also, the other volunteers that assisted Tom, such as our former President...Jan Daub, and our Webmaster,  Jerry....both of them worked tirelessly,  and kept things running, on pace, and smooth.

Many other volunteers helped,  but I don’t know all the names, however....THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOLUNTEERED,  this is what keeps the United Sidecar Association running.

I may not remember all their names,  but I remember their faces, so....here they are....in no particular order:

Grinning Wink Inlove Sweaty Love Kiss Formal Smile Displeased Cool Nerd Screaming Amazed Starry Eyes Shocked Vomited Hi Afraid Rabid Nonoise Blushed I Dont Know Scared Shut Mouth Razz Bruise Kiss Pray   Crying Excitement

Huge thank you to Rally Master Tom and his merry band of helpers, Jerry and Jan, and the ones pictured in Miles post clap clap clap

Our first national and we had a great time! Met so many nice and helpful folks. Got to see folks we've met at smaller rallies, get some sidecar tips, and 🦞

Really appreciate the time and effort that went into planning and running the rally.

MJ and John

On the road until July 1

Thanks to all for the nice Topsham Rally.  Here are some pictures, Fort Gorges, sailing ship near Cook's restaurant and Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse.

The painted wood grain, rattan, dovetail joints and smoking/flaming Harley brands impressed me.

When I first saw this thread you could click on links and see many good photos. Now the links are gone, or did I just dream that I clicked on a link and saw many beautiful pictures.  Well here is the 1953 Zondapp with the Steib sidecar.

Has anyone seen this rig during the Rally (Guzzi/Hannigan)? I just bought it unseen and flying there (NC) in 2 weeks to ride it home (AZ).
