Illegitemi non carborundum est!

No donuts.
But tomorrow the local bakery will be open and they make jam filled donuts fresh.
Made it as far as Myaree on the sidecar today.
Freo on the scooter on Monday.

Pictures of some guys Sidecar rig at the rally, as well as inside the Hall, where we have tables of "stuff for sale...or free"....and some of the Rally volunteers.

There will be some other sidecarists come along in a bit to post pics of The Ice Cream Ride...and Consumption....but I can tell you we had 26 sidecar rigs in motion, going down the highways and byways of Maine, to end up in a LARGE parking lot adjacent to a super great Ice Cream shop. Collectively, probably 49 people participated.
WOW was it fun and good....both the camaraderie and the Ice Cream.

YES, Flying Monkey, here are some pics of the ice cream run! This is on Thursday evening, the first day of the rally. I was able to take a bunch of pics and a video of everyone riding into the ice cream shop. I invited the manager to take a ride around the parking lot with FM. She was a young woman who was excited/terrified of FM's machine but she was all grins as her compadres took a bunch of pics. Then we organized 10-12 rigs to ride into the pedestrian area only in front of the ice cream shop where we could take some pics. I did not ask the manager if we could do that because I didn't want the answer - we just did it! She said we were all crazy! What a lot of fun for everyone - sidecarists and customers all!
In the interest of rapid dissemination of pics for everyone to enjoy I just used my cell phone and uploaded all these pics into my Google Photos, then created an album that I could share. Unfiltered and unedited. I'll do that later...

Here is Kent Silk, our Sidecar Association Vice President, holding a seminar on Saturday morning, in the Hall.
We had 55 sidecarists in attendance, and.... enough Donuts for everyone to eat 3.14 donuts each

As of Saturday morning, we have 126 sidecarists that have officially signed in, and roughly 14 more attendees that are just visiting, observing, peering......so we have approximately 150 live souls in attendance.

This afternoon we has the field events, sidecars in the grass. I, and several others volunteered to assist with the games, and it appeared that fun was had by all.
Of course I didn't take any pictures, because I was busy working the games, but....Jerry will be along soon to post some pictures and videos.

Just a very few more pictures to post, and these will tickle certain folks, (here's looking at you, Bruce Carson) that are into Moto Guzzi V7 rigs, and ....a 1953 Zundapp w/replacement BMW 750 engine, with a Steib Sidecar....the real thing !

Important Note:
Because our very talented Webmaster, Jerry, lives in a higher cloud than the rest of us....he lives in thee I-cloud....he doesn't understand simple humanity, in that once people have viewed his link in his post above.... about 4 or 5 posts above....these same people are not going to keep going back to that same link from days earlier, to see if Jerry has added more, and more pictures to that file.
He presumes that all of you are advanced hominids, and can think like an A-I bot, to automatically go to the is ONE link, for all updates
Whoa is us....
I am alerting all of you(us) mere hominids.....if you want to see more pictures taken by our Webmaster, updated pictures, photos of the field events, etc....then you have to go backwards in life, and find Jerry's post way up above, to see what he has added.
Why do it this way?
Because our Webmaster isn't going to post a SECOND post with links to his latest pictures.
Oh, the Humanity ! 😂
