I booked a cell at the local dog shelter.  Miles (@miles-ladue) is going to drop me off, but I have to wear a harness with a tether to ride "monkey".  😉

Super Dog has the presidential suite at the local five star spa/resort.

Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

If you are looking to reserve an RV site for the Rally, call Tommy Rhoades at the Topsham Fairgrounds at 1 (207) 440-0286. He is accepting reservations now.

Yes, Tommy is taking reservations, however he prefers to be called at 207-241-0404.  Also, please understand that the Topsham Fair staff are volunteers and not paid employees so please be understanding if it takes a little time to connect.

How about if you are tenting and need electric, do you need to reserve?

@2FLTC I just made our reservation for a full hook-up site by calling Tommy at 207-440-0286 He said it is his last "Hoo Rah" and he's helping out until the new person takes over. Tommy said there are plenty of tent sites, and with just 110 electric, should be no problem if you don't reserve.

Talked to Tommy this morning, couple more little details. Dogs are ok as long as on leash and cleaned up after. They ARE NOT allowed in any of the buildings unless they are service dogs. adding electric to the tent sites has a small fee determined by how long you stay. The restrooms are about 2 to 300 ft from the camping area. If you tow your rig they do have parking for your truck & trailer. A bunkhouse type camper is considered a tent.

you can reserve to come in early and stay longer but you need to call so they have you down. I have them holding us a spot to show up on Monday 9th

Mike & Marna, great decision to stay at the Comfort Inn, in Brunswick, Maine for the USCA National Sidecar Rally.

For those not-in-the-know....the Comfort Inn, in Brunswick, Maine is THEE hotel to be at, for the fun, the frolicking, the fastest sidecar rigs, the phenomenal friends.........so...........be THERE or be Square.

@miles-ladue Good choice!! Holy Donuts is just down the street on the way to the rally site and while an "Official" rally motel has not been designated it is looking like this is the place to be if you're not camping.  Anyone looking for something other than a chain hotel there are lots of options within a 5-10 mile radius including quaint b&b's, historic Inns and more.

How many would be willing to partake of an optional lobster dinner on Friday for an extra charge?  I'll be exploring some opportunities but need to know if there's enough interest.  With the volatility of the lobster market, it will be difficult to get firm pricing this far in advance.  Another option might be lobster / seafood ride to any of a number of lobster and seafood shacks or restaurants in the area.
