Harley triple trees Triglide
Harley also uses a steering damper on the TriGlide with raked trees. (??)
Liberty trees don't need one.
I've ridden my FXDL (raked trees) without the sidecar and find it handles more like a sportbike, with quicker steering but still controllable.

i have the dampener on my bike with a liberty tree
mostly since i ride one handed a lot since my right wrist has issues
the same as my left ankle that started me back to a sidecar after a 20 year gap

I think they add a few degrees to improve the trail. I have a Lehman kit, but it shouldn't matter, since all you are doing is pushing the front wheel out.
The trees work Great but if putting on a road king not a simple bolt on. Headlight shroud causes lots of problems.
well lets be honest...
even if you use 100% harley parts its going to take some work
skils in metal fabrication, milling, grinding, drilling etc go a long way.
i have a 50's era harley headlight adjusting ring on my 07.. about half the holes have to be moved - and counter bored - some at the angle of where it mounts to the bike and some at the angle where the headlight bolts to the ring.
road kings take more work - i have seen a set of directions of how to modify the sheet metal so it fits perfect and is indistinguishable from stock - but to align the headlight properly you need the ring.
i have often thought one of the contributing factors into the low usage of harley sidecars and the slow sales is the complexities of making it all work really right. mine i can ride on either side of a four lane at speed with or without a passenger one handed in perfect comfort. there is nothing simple about making that happen - it took many hours of work. lots of odd hard to find parts, weeks waiting for the box of bits from HD. two days to install it all.
but its perfect and I'm so happy with it.

I agree just saying not to expect, like I did, to just replace trees and tubes. Like you said headlight ring, shroud mounting bosses and several other things. Love the difference it made in handling. I have put about 1100 miles total with sidecar and 6-700 after the change and would not go back. I would love to get a copy of the instructions on modifying the sheet metal if you could let me know who or where I could get them. Thanks.
i "think" it was in liberty sidecars tree installation instructions - i have them somewhere but they are not in the manual bundle, if i find it ill try and post it.
with the liberty trees you don't have to change the tubes , but the harley tree is cheaper so i expect most folks will use that these days

I had 2009 tri glide trees installed on my 2010 Electra glide when I installed a 97 HD sidecar.
With the tri glide trees and the 3/4" lower rear shocks my bike frame sets level.
I paid about $400 for the trees at a KC area HD dealer.
I do run an HD steering damper and have a very slight low speed shake, over 10mph stabile and handles well.
The only thing I had to change was the lower fairing trim- below the headlight-" Tri Glide" trim, it had to be longer on the sides to Bolton to accommodate for the additional rake.
Hopes this helps.

Just did this on my '02 FLHTCUI and it is working great.
No dampener and stock forks.
Had it up to 85 tracked srtaight and true.
Hope this helps.
So you didn't have to go with longer tubes?
We have in stock 6 degree triple tree's for 1997-2017 FLH's, If you ask for the USCA price for the month of May 2017 $595 You will need to specify the year as one tree does not fit all years.

No I'm running stock length.
Please read all the info that ultraboy wrote in the link in my 1st post.
I read it about 20 times before I took the plunge and ordered parts.
