shit fire its a parma!
Β
those fishtanks were the same as the monacos, except for the wrap around perspex
is that really what theyre worth?
I think it would command more if it was configured for North America.
Have owned 5 rigs but Rig #2 is my current one!
Mount it on the proper side backwards?Β 🤣Β
Is a pretty cool looking sidecar.Β I feel like riding in it would require a constant "parade wave" to the adoring fans along the route.Β Or maybe a Pope's hat. 😎Β
Hold my keyboard and watch this! π
Mine was originally configured like that but was converted to a single seat with a boot lid. ( trunk )
Also rubber and aluminium trim makes it look like a bullet shape.
Good to see they are worth money.Β
Β The only sidecar in this picture, is the one that Bruce @Brstr is speaking of in his post above, along with his scooter, and his Fiat,
from the Days of Yore, in the Land Down Under.

i'm in the states, and i'd actually prefer a left-side unit. the right side is where the kickstart mechanism is on all my stuff, and the lever interferes with the lower rear mount. no similar problems with a left-side chair. im putting together a 60's 650 triumph for mine, and i have to source a shorter kickstart lever from somewhere.
Β
im not planning on ever having the horsepower to pass anybody.

I hosted a guy here in the States back 12 years ago or so.Β He and his missus were riding around the world on his BMW R100 rig that he'd built himself in Newcastle (England).
Kinda ballsy, I thought, but his missus (who by the way was a damn fine rider herself) would signal to him when it was OK to pass.
