I have a 2017 Roadmaster Classic with a TSC Tomahawk sidecar. I was Dx'd with myasthenia gravis and I knew I could no longer do without a 3rd wheel. I didn't want to go down the geezer glide trail (trike) so I added the tub to my tug (I'm new to this lingo. Did I get it right?). If getting attention is not your thing then this rig is NOT for you!! It is an attention grabber... I've never had it on the road with someone - or SEVERAL someones - telling me how cool the bike is. I agree. What's more, I don't worry about being unable to hold it up or struggling at slow speeds on gravel. Anyway, glad to be a part of this group.

Steve, WELCOME to the Greatest Show on Earth, or any of the odd numbered planets.

Once you hit at least 3 posts here, you can then post pictures of your attention grabbing Sidecar rig.

Tell us, where do you hail from?

@miles-ladue   I am currently residing in Champaign IL with plans to relocate to middle Tennessee. I'm 75 yrs old, retired from USPS after 28 years as an In-Plant Support Specialist. Served as a medic in USAF from 1970 to 1978 in various roles (ER Tech, Nurse's Aid and Orthopedic Clinic Specialist). I spent the majority of my time at KI Sawyer AFB in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where I learned to fish, ski, camp and ride motorcycles. I am married, have 2 grown children. 2 grandkids and a great grandson. Finally, I have a 5 y/o Springer Spaniel named Bradford who has decided to hang around and be MY dog.

Welcome Steve.

You seem to have the lingo down pat.

I had to think a bit to work out what your tug actually was.

I don't fully understand what I think was Harley speak.....

At least you didn't spout a bunch of letters etc.

So look forward to you posting pictures as it sounded like a great rig, and hence the comments.

Had to look up what ails you.

A number of people get into sidecars because of health issues/missing bits etc.

The rest of us have no excuse but do it anyway..

Enjoy

Bruce, his bike is an Indian Roadmaster Classic...not a Harley -Davidson.

And his Sidecar, the Tomahawk is the spitting image of the olde original Indian sidecars.

Stop chasing Wallabies, mate.
