New to the forum, not to sidecars. I bought my 2007 Ural Gear Up 10 years ago this month and it's one oil change short of 50,000 miles. I ride it year round in NE Illannoy. And though getting long in the tooth, it has been an absolute blast. And handy. I need half a dozen 8 foot 2x4s from Menard's...take the Ural. Go camping with the grandkids, take the Ural. Snowing? Do donuts in a vacant parking lot, then show up at the dealer covered in snow.
A bit about me. I'm a teenager in an AARP body, but only 10 in dog years. Retired railroad construction equipment mechanic, so maintaining a weird Russian rig isn't a big deal. Married over 50 years to a girl from high school that I gave a ride to on my Honda S90. I still roller skate once a week and bicycle a few times a week. And daily walks with my aging pup, Buster.
I just put two new tires on the Ural today to keep it going.
