Writing of which, what is your most memorable event or time period so far?
Mine was the fall of the Berlin Wall. I'd been through Check Point Charlie, and saw first hand the oppression in East Germany compared to West Germany. The reunification while troublesome for both, turned out pretty dog gone awesome. Made me proud to be an infinitesimally small part of that. Landing on the moon was pretty awe inspiring as well.
