Sidecars coming up for auction

Congratulations to you both! 🍻
Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

(or, maybe ship it down to a mate that lives in Western Australia, as noted in the post above mine. That gives me someone to care for it, in Western Australia, and gives me an almost antique sidecar rig to ride with him, if I ever visit this olde man in Western Oz.)
Miles,
I wish you would buy a Velocette Viper or Venom with a sidecar and ship it to me in NJ to watch in case you should visit here. 😩
Sideline @sidewise, what you unaware of, is that several hours before I posted on here about the probability that I might purchase that '54 Vincent Rapide C w/Wessex sidecar rig.....I sent a personal email to the mate in Western Australia, broaching the subject with him.....regarding shipping it to Western Australia, and having him care for it.
So, like most things in Gnu Jersey.....you are an Aesthetitician.....just like a Velocette Viper or Venom.

Well very pleased for you Miles.
Though the shock concept of storing such a machine with the required engine oiling caused my account here to drop out. literally.
Had to find the email account I have attached to my wife's account.
And it's password.
Then use it to login and get a new password for this site.
So good news is I now have it written down.
Slack I know but we each have our failings.
Taking the Dodge and the Fiat in "THE" trailer to a car show tomorrow...

Bruce, I have good news and bad news.... which do you want first ?
Okay, the good news is we got a quote for shipping this 1954 Vincent Rapide C w/Wessex Sidecar rig from the seller in Nova Scotia to my mate in the Perth, Australia area, and it's relatively cheap, at $ 2,850.00 CDN, as in Canadian dollars.
The bad news .... NOT going to happen 😔
Boss Monkey and I spent this past weekend (now Monday morning in Bordeaux, France) discussing the purpose of this Vincent Rapide C w/Wessex Sidecar rig, and she put the kybosh on buying this, and....I agree with her.
Because of my health issues, and the treatments I have been enduring, we have made large efforts to reduce our International assets, like selling our home in the Highlands of Scotland, and selling the Euro -Wing sidecar rig that was earlier shipped TO Germany, and is now being shipped back to the US, and I will deliver to its' new owner, all for the purpose of lightening the load for my Boss Monkey, in case I don't survive this health issue.
Boss Monkey lost her first husband to Colon Cancer, then spent the next 11 years alone, until I came along. Later this month will be our 25th anniversary, and.... knowing her history, I have always vowed, to myself, to not make her a widow a second time.
Buying this Vincent Rapide C w/Wessex Sidecar rig right now would only add to the load of "stuff" she would need to divest of, if she is left alone.
So, with heavy heart, and melted brain,🤕 I must say NO to adding this Vincent Sidecar rig to my stable. Would have been nice to own, but more work than is needed.... right now.
The expert building my Africa Twin DCT cargo box Sidecar rig tells me it's in his shop now, and might be done sooner than we expected, but that's a Sidecar rig that is easier to sell if I am not around, so we will continue building that one.
Back on the Good News front..... that 1954 Vincent Rapide C w/Wessex Sidecar rig is now available for someone else to buy, so .......

Nice bikes. I can relate to parting with them. I'm 84 and sad to be selling mine too. Lots of great memories though.
