Welcome to a great crew of good people.  😎  Sorry to read you have to stop enjoying the fun of sidecars.

Gosh, I am 85 and yesterday (3-14-26) I spent 4 hours on a nice ride to clear out the cobwebs.

My hero!! I'm 78 and still going strong. Fellow in my CMA chapter is still driving a trike at just short of 90. We think he must be an alien from a planet far far away!

Bill Easter has been a reliable Vincent rider for many decades. I met him at many Vincent rallies including the two in, '75 and '77 at Shadow Lake. Ontario.  Lost touch over the decade past.  Glad to hear he's still active.

Aging myself, I ceased riding my Black Shadow a few years back and spent a couple of years finishing a long term project consisting of a Vincent Touring Rapide and Bender sidecar, both 1952 vintage.

Late reply.  Heading through Minnesota in a weeks time with a stop at my Vincent friend Rick Schunk in Minneapolis. What part of Minnesota are you?  Cheers. Ross

I'm just a baby in this crowd. 58 and I thought sidecars were the thing of my future when 2 wheels fade, but got a Ural and wow was that fun but dumped that pile of Russian steel and found an St1100 Hannigan a few years ago and then HAD to drive 1.5 days last Christmas to pickup the Vstrom/Velorex with luggage box. So the St1100 sits most of the time and the Vstrom sits a lot of the time whilst riding the two wheelers or waiting for snow / salt to make way for something more fun than a cage. Oh, Central Minnesota the past few years hasn't been friendly to my snowmobiles as they long to cruise on snow more than a couple days a year. Envious of riding into the "good years" on anything.

Oh and visiting Minnesota...really only free time is the weekend, and summer! Yay for teaching in a public school. Ross, near Freeport MN

Daniel, welcome, Welcome, WELCOME 😁

You have made good choices on your Sidecar rigs, especially the ST-1100 and the V-Strom.

But....nix that snowmobile, and your car....and commit to piloting both Sidecar rigs all Winter.

A couple more posts, then you can show us pictures 😜

@todanshaffer what subject(s) do you specialize in?  Me, I’m science in central Nebraska.  And just barely below 60 as of the creation of this post.  Yes, on a comparison base, we’re pups to these folks but certainly enthusiastic!
