My first three rigs had no reverse and I never missed it.  All three were BMW GS rigs.  My 4th (a K1200LT) and 5th (a Goldwing) did have reverse and I surprised myself by using it far more than necessary.  What a lazy bum!

Sheath, does your driveway not have enough room for you to pull a U-ee then let gravity help back the rig into the garage?

Surface is flat.  So gravity just makes the rig sink into the rocks.  lol

This reverse option for the H-D seems pretty awesome!  I like that it has the same torque/HP in reverse as it does in 1st.

I like the  factory  Reverse on the  Honda Goldwing  better,  and to demonstrate:

Honda spelled in  reverse is: adnoh

But Harley-Davidson  spelled in reverse is:  nosdivad-yelrah

Now, which one is easier to pronounce?

That's the one with the  better  Reverse  !

Homer....er....Shrek, are you  100 % certain that a "hod" is a thing that large quantities of tea are made and served from in GB and Ireland  ???

Are you  certain  ???

A "hob" in GB and Ireland is a cooking surface,  either gas or electrical,  which is used for heating up  a water kettle to make tea.

But a "hod" is a container that used by a building  worker  for carrying  bricks. Typically they are an open  container on the end of a pole, used for  carrying  bricks.

I always heard Hob as something that demons played upon various activities (playing Hob with xxx).

As for a hod being a tea serving device, it was once mentioned in a story I read long ago about Irish Breakfast tea being distinct from English Breakfast tea.  Seems as though the author of that particular work was having me on.

$265 would say you were right too.  Sounds like multiple definitions, or maybe colloquialisms?

Getting Miles to backup is quite the undertaking. Some good try's though. Is there a program to get back too???

GM gentlemen. The last status was that I was building a new shed for the sidecar.. So while I was trimming a tree on Saturday, that I figured should be done before putting a roof on this shed. The tree fought back, knocked me and pole mounted chainsaw off the ladder, to the ground on top of a piece of wood and I later found out in the emergency room that I had 6 broken ribs. Lower rt hand side.

So, while the project is still on, there's gonna be a 4-6 week deferment. Forced stoppage.

But I’ll be doing whatever I can to prep.. And I’ll keep ya posted.

A known fact is that the common garden ladder is the most dangerous thing on the property.

That's why I have 4.......

Spreads the danger around...

Logical?

Probably not.

Hope I didn't make you laugh.

No! no laughing!

Get well quickly.

Drats Bob. Sure sorry to hear of the injury.  Seems you just have to outlast broken ribs.

Pray you heal quickly.  And, please, try not to sneeze. Shocked
