What makes a good USCA Rally Site?
Opening a conversation based on so very many good questions and suggestions about this year's rally.
Some thought on minimum requirements for a USCA Rally
1. covered, preferrably enclosed space for upwards of 150 people (not shared space - exclusive use for the USCA)
2. availability of camping on site including tent and RV. Cabins on site are very nice to have
3. availability of other lodging in the area
4. availability of several locations for meals, mostly supper options
5. availability to serve a catered meal for Saturday supper
Nice to have :
6. good roads for riding
7. welcoming community for a pretty laid back group of enthusiasts
8. place to host bike games
9. interesting community activities
10...
What things have I missed?
What ideas do YOU have for a possible rally location?
Illegitemi non carborundum est!
You, Mr. President, covered most of the necessities, the commonly expected necessities for mere mortals.
May I suggest...a location with predictable and accommodating weather...and before you say that weather is unpredictable, I would say something to the contrary, then we would agree to disagree.
And, a location where a volunteer with access to thousands of Doughnut Holes could supply said Doughnut Holes every morning to the Rally Headquarters.
Oh, I almost forgot...
