It looks like the bears are back for a threepeat. The powers that be have decided that the 2027 National will be at the fairgrounds in Hotchkiss again.
The B.M.W. M.O.A. National Rally is going to be in Montana June 17 through 20. The Hotchkiss fairgrounds are unavailable the weekend of June 10 through 13 and the first weekend has too much of a chance for snow in the high country so that is the weekend we have available. One note of interest is that this is also the weekend of the Colorado State B.M.W.M.O.A. Rally in Paonia so lodging could become a challenge.
I will keep this updated so keep an eye and check this first post for updates.
For those who have not been to Hotchkiss before the camping in the fairgrounds park is free with your rally entry. I have a limited number of RV sites along the park fence that have power and water available. There is also power available for tent campers along the East park fence. Plenty of bathroom and shower facilities are also free of charge. There is pretty much unlimited RV dry camping on the fairgrounds for any size RV you want to bring, no power or water.
Much more information to come but I wanted to get the dates and basic information out there.

Just an FYI....I have just made a reservation at the ONLY motel in the teeny tiny town of Hotchkiss, CO...at the Hotchkiss Inn, and I reserved TWO rooms, both with TWO QUEEN beds in them, so now Steve and his faithful companion Cy are taken care of, as well as my wife and myself.
There are only 24 rooms at this Hotchkiss Inn... https://www.hotchkissinnmotel.com/ so if you want a room at a motel/hotel this is the only place within 20 miles, because there are several motorcycle events/gatherings in that area of Colorado going on at the same time, so Paonia will be booked solid, and that only leaves Delta, CO with rooms available...and that is 20 miles to the West of Hotchkiss...but several motels/hotels in Delta.
There are some AirB&B locations in the area, and camping at the fairgrounds, and surrounding areas.
Reservations made for arriving on June 24th, 2027, and leaving 5 years later on June 27th, 2032....(okay...June 27th, 2027)

Mike @mikem, I am 100% certain that the 2027 USCA National Sidecar Rally that is being held in Hotchkiss, Colorado is in JUNE...NOT in July.
Here is a link from the "other" sidecar forums, where the gentleman that lives in Hotchkiss posted on that forum, and it shows JUNE 24th - 26th, 2027.
The error here was a simple mistake by the same gentleman...Dana @DirtyDR, as he simply typed out July, and he meant to say JUNE.
My reservation is correct. Last time I made a mistake, was 13 years ago, when I was riding in a light rain, and got struck by Lightning.
