Any news on a location, maybe a confirmation on a state at least?

I think we should make it a treasure hunt.
Instead of hunting down a bag of stolen money, we could be hunting down a chest of stolen Doughnut holes covered in maple syrup and an original copy of the H-D Sidecar repair manual. Stops throughout all the cool historic locations that created our country. It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World meets National Treasure.
"It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad National Sidecar Rally!"
We certainly have the cast of characters to make it epic! I might have to get an old Ural, and an "Indy Hat" for that! 🤩
Side note: We may need to take up a fund to keep Dane (@Ben-Franklin) in wheel bearings. 😉

Statement came out a little while back - Midcoast Maine. I don't find a town named Midcoast, but a search shows a region halfway up the coast of Maine regionally titled Midcoast.

Cool. Just a short ride away from the Bay of Fun...dy. 🤩
Think I'll be trailering to this one, and spending a good amount of time exploring the area. 😎

Scott, let me know when you have left Utah, trailering your rig to Maine, so I can leave Washington State at the same time, and....pass you....as we trailer our rig to Maine.

Well, Mid Coast narrows it down to a little over 3,000 square miles. Actually only 1,800 square miles of land.

You could probably leave a day or two later, and still end up passing me. The moto here is drive slow, and stop often. 😎
The real question is if the trailer will be a Toy Hauler, or a utility trailer. Going to think on that over the winter. Hotel/truck camping allows more "on the fly" decisions versus trying to find camp grounds at the peak of camp season. Hmmmm. 🤔

Scott, I would suggest a Bear Track all aluminum utility trailer, like at least 4 of us here already own. It is very lightweight, and they are half the price of the Aluma brand trailers. I bought mine, brand new, in central Oregon, and it is the 82" wide, by 10' long, with a spare tire/wheel, all-in for $ 3,800.00
What YOU would need is the Bear Track BTU76120S trailer. That is only 76" wide, yet 10' long.

Maine, Eh? Was hoping it would be in Alaska as I should be close to there in mid June. As far as Timmies, it has gone down hill somewhat, coffee is shite now ( Mac D's Is better ) and even though the doughnuts are consistent across the country they are not cooked in house any more. Used to be able get them fresh out of the oven.. Yum! Slowly got re-branded by these guys. https://www.rbi.com/about-us/overview/#:~:text=RBI%20owns%20four%20of%20the,franchisees%20and%20communities%20for%20decades.

Posted by: @donbmwOn the Soviet Steeds forum it is being posted since yesterday that the Rally is going to be in Topsham Maine.
If Topsham, Maine is the location for the 2025 USCA National Sidecar Rally.....that is more than 3,300 miles from my house....or 5,346 kilometers.
I better get started in May, if I am going to make it there in June.

2,393 miles if I take Interstate all of the way. Boring, nasty ride, been there done that.

Those riding Urals need to start the trip now, and plan out parts cache locations along the way? 😉

Sounds like when I was driving the bus for the gospel music group. Old Prevost that had been rode hard, poorly maintained and put away wet. Kind of like me most days...

And here I was going up with my Ural but with the BS on here I'm not going to ride up there to listen to more BS. So, I can forget about this rally. If I want to listen to BS all I have to go to the local bar.
