I have read many of your posts with interest but have not responded so far. I did not know you could get a tire on a rim 16 "Harley, I'm running AVON on the back of my '05 Sportster. I have not heard of it can be done without changing the tire. I thought the edge is too narrow, then wider wheels? I can change the rear wheel of my Sportster for a wide range of a new model that accepts a car tire?

The 2009 and later Electra Glide swingarms accept a 6" rim wheel so going darkside is quite easily accomplished. Limitations are belt nad caliper clearance.
I have 1/8" clearance on the belt side.
