Darkside changeover

After burning up a $300. Harley rear tire in 7,800 miles I just switched to a Hankook Sports radial car tire. It was a tight squeeze being about .68" wider than the OEM tire but it fit with about 1/8" belt clearance on my '10 FLHX rig. The HD skin cost $.043 per mile to run. This one will cost less than $.005 per mile. A considerable saving tire wise. I'll keep using the 17" HD Dunlops on the front and the sidehack since I haven't found an auto tire to fit. The 2009 and later Electra Glide swingarms accept a 6" rim wheel so going darkside is quite easily accomplished. Limitations are belt nad caliper clearance.
I have 1/8" clearance on the belt side.
