Had a good ride up to the Rich Mountain Rendezvous at Queen Wilhelmina State Park in Arkansas last weekend, and led a "Shady" Tiddler Ride on Saturday.  Here are a few random photo's from the ride.  I'm thinking we may need to have our 2025 fall Ark-La-Okie-Tex sidecar gathering in conjunction with the Rich Mountain Rendezvous (as we have done in year's past).

By the way, I made it home and didn't get ...stuck in Lodi again.  😀

I'm digging the diversity of bikes in your riding group! A bit of everything. 😎

We have an eclectic group of riders that has developed around the Texas Tiddlers Endurance Run organized by Dennis Leggett in East Texas, who was riding the Yamaha Exciter on this ride.  In this instance, a Tiddler is a motorcycle or scooter of 49cc-305cc of any vintage or flavor, but our rides often include a sidecar rig or two.  Re: variety, last year I lead a similar ride on a borrowed Zuma 50 scooter.

That is really cool.

Are you part of the Two Wheel Texans rider group?

They seem like a pretty cool group as well.  I met one of them when he and his two kids (son and daughter) were on a North to South Adventure ride coming through Utah into Colorado.

Yes, I'm a SwampFox over there too.  I suspect you met Scott, Daniel & Sarah.  I admire Scott for doing what most men never do -- he placed his business on hold for a time so he could travel --and make memories-- with his children before the children's lives became too busy (that old Cat's in the Cradle thing).

Small world!  I thought this was pretty epic of the whole family to make the opportunity happen.  Big decision, with lots of distractions that easily get in the way.

Scott said he'd be doing a trip report of the whole trip, so I checked it out.  He did a great job with that as well.   Was a great adventure for sure. 👍
