I put an ad in a local online rag for a lightweight sidecar to fit to a bike I had, I never expected to get a reply as there are virtually no sidecars here in Sask, but I was offered the perfect sidecar but it came attached to a bike. The seller had had it for many years, and I think he was frightened to ride it. Anyway I got if for a very good price.  It's a 1982 Velorex and Honda 450 Hawk combination with 6000 kilometers !!.  I got it running in no time and gave it an oil and filter change and a clean up.    It's mechanically as new, 44 hp with six gears, and it goes like shit off a shovel.    It's dead easy to control when flying the chair, it's like it was built for it.

I just sold the bike I wanted the sidecar for.

It cost $68 Canadian to insure it until November.    Any vehicle manufactured before 1987 qualifies for antique insurance rates in Saskatchewan, that makes it very practical.    Gas consumption is excellent too !  I think this little rig will get used a lot basic_smile
