If you are ever going to go to the City of Lights....best to go when the days are shorter, and the nights are longer. Will spend 11 days here, with most of that time cruising up and down the Seine River with Viking River Cruises.

Last night they turned on the sparkling lights, their version of Christmas lights, and whilst my wife took a short video of the sparkling lights action, the lights flickering on and off SO fast, it's rather distracting.

Finally...a Life Sized STROOPWAFFLE. This is going to take about a year to eat....
Found in Rouen, France... about 1 block from where Joan of Arc was tried, convicted, and burned at the stake.
If only.....if only they had Stroopwaffles back then, they could have warmed these up around the fire, and...
If only....if only Joan of Arc would have requested one of these Life Sized STROOPWAFFLE as her last meal...she would have lived another year or more, whilst eating said Stroopwaffle.
