Happy Holidays....to One and All
Just wanted to say to everyone.............Happy Holidays...........to One and All
Oh, and in case any of you are wondering if that sidecar pictured below is real...or not...in 1966 Steib decided to make a prototype of a multi-seat sidecar, and being 1966, they went with the 6 seat version. So this is their 1966 TR500/6 model. Only one was made, because it was determined to be too wide for 99% of the roads in Europe.

Thanks Miles,
I definitely have a lot to be thankful for. A big one is the enjoyment this whole sidecar experience is providing, and the ability share the adventures. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving Y'all.

Almost missed it, As we had ours more than a month ago :-). Happy Thanksgiving to all my Southern Friends
Late to this thread. Annie and I celebrated T-Day alone this year. Our daughter and her family traveled to be with the son-in-laws grandparents. It was quiet and peaceful. We had a traditional meal; turkey and mashed potatoes…….
I have wanted to try something very old, but new to me for some time.
A young person who will be one of my students next year, but whom I buy eggs from and pick up in the school bus offered to sell me a portion of her 4H steer. Upon deliberation, we agreed to buy 1/2 of a 1/2 (gets a mix of everything from the animal). Standing weight was 1450 lbs! I also requested a bunch of the tallow to accomplish my baking endeavor.
YT to the rescue!
https://youtu.be/L9dsIItc8fs?feature=shared I've made three Christmas Puddings so far, one with no nuts so I can share it with a group. General consensus is that you make next year's puddings this year. I'm pretty sure we won't be waiting that long to break them out!
I don't have any pics of the finished puddings, but will when I break them out of the cellar.

Wow! That YouTube video has my Sister-In-Laws name written all over it. I'll be sharing with her this morning. Thanks for posting this! 🙂

I should have added - most Christmas pudding recipes call for steaming several hours. The modern twist is to use an Instant Pot (electric pressure cooker) with the pudding in a metal bowl as the cooking vessel. Super easy to accomplish.
Oh, and the batter will be so thick you will need to have forearms like Popeye (or Miles) to get is properly stirred.
