Hi Kim, sincere condolences on the loss of your husband.
The link you posted didn't show up. Maybe because it is your first post. I was able to find this video discussing the collection.
Our Web Master Jerry (@webmaster) should be able to post the link to the auction site on your behalf, if you reach out to him.
Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

No Suzuki made the VanVan Miles.
There was a Vincent 1000cc black shadow? Here for sale a few decades back maybe less.
25k was the ask (dealer) could possibly have put it on the mortgage at the time.
Had I known of the option.
And apart from the appreciation aspect it would have been an awesome bike to own and mostly ride.
The immaculate 63? Norton Manx clubman (never raced) next to it possibly would have been an even better deal at 17k.
In 79 I watched a Vincent and a Norton with a couple of period riders at Bathurst. (The world's best racetrack!)
They clocked 150mph on Conrod straight.
And sounded amazing from the top of the mountain.

Bruce, I know about the Suzuki Van Van's, as my wife and I bought 2 brand new 2017 Van Van 200's, after owning 3 of the Yamaha TW200's.
And, I used to own a 1953 Vincent Black Shadow, that when I sold it, at a buddy deal, it went for $88k to a bloke in the UK, and my '47 Ariel Square Four, and '74 Norton 850 Commando both went to a mate down on your continent.
Lucky for me, the shipping company that handled all three of those bikes came the same day to crate them up for the two different buyers, then they spent about 6 hours here crating these bikes for shipping...the Vincent to the UK and the Ariel and Norton to Oz.

Well, my 54 Vincent C Rapide with the Wessex sidecar didn’t sell. I am seriously thinking of putting an electric leg on it and riding! The chair would take care of my balance issues and if I limited my mileage I think I could hope with my loss of strength. Hope springs eternal.
The 47 B Vincent Rapide Gunga Din Replica racing chair didn’t sell. However I am not surprised as the race bikes are a limited speciality market. If anyone needs a hotted up Vin, let them know. Thanks.

Electric legs are a great invention.
Keep riding is a top idea.
Of course us lesser mortals will need to see some pictures please.
I am in the local Heritage motorcycle club and it's always good to see such classics being used.

Kim Lipscomb @kim-lipscomb, and let's talk privately about the 1954 Vincent C Rapide w/Wessex sidecar.
I am interested, however am leaving tomorrow morning for a 3 month journey around Europe, and I felt my bid on this sidecar rig might impede others that might have been able to obtain it sooner. If you are still interested in selling that '54 Vincent w/Wessex sidecar rig, rather than making it your own personal ride (which I encourage you to do...make it YOUR own ride), then contact me, and let's see if we can come to terms. If purchased, I would need to have it shipped to me, in Western Washington State.
(or, maybe ship it down to a mate that lives in Western Australia, as noted in the post above mine. That gives me someone to care for it, in Western Australia, and gives me an almost antique sidecar rig to ride with him, if I ever visit this olde man in Western Oz.)
Thank you for your time.

Thanks for the encouragement. As to pictures, the best were taken by my auctioneer, not only of the bike, but closeup. I will try to attach.

You do know the pictures we really want to see is of you with wind in you face riding the Vincent.
Do the heart good that would.
And a great way to honour the memory.
But in the meantime I best prepare room in my garage .
