Hi - been lurking on here for about a year but never introduced myself! A couple of years ago I picked up an 89 FJ1200 with a California Sidecars "Friendship" sidecar. It's fun and unique, but I have 3 other bikes I ride too (BMW GSA 1200, Norden 901, XC-W 300). I live near Hood River, OR in the scenic Columbia River Gorge.

I intend to list the FJ for sale shortly once I can post pictures.

Thanks!

Welcome.

The FJ would make an awesome tug.

Does it have any steering mods to make life easier and much more fun?

Oh and on I think your next post you should be able to put up a picture or 3 or 4.....

Most here are sceptics that don't believe without pictures...

Or was that illiterate??.

Thanks! Yes, it all makes sense and it has a modified fork from an R1 with big discs. Last winter I was frustrated with the OEM carb and got a new one from RPM Performance in CA., and put Uni foam filters on at the same time. It's jetted for the sidecar and was a huge improvement.

Will post pics ASAP...think I need 3 posts now.
