Ahem!

The 2026 USCA National Rally will be held June 4-7 at CMA Iron Mountain in the absolutely fabulous Ouchita (wa-she-ta) mountains.  Iron Mountain is located between Mena, Arkansas and Hatfield, Arkansas.  Lodging and amenities are prevalent in Mena,  not so much in Hatfield.

There are cabins and camping sites at Iron Mountain but their website doesn’t have booking function so you will need to call to make reservations for the cabins.

This informative post is made in order to assist you in planning your trip to the rally.  More details will follow when the Rallymaster ramps up after the first of the year.

Sincerely,  your USCA President

EDIT:  Attached is the registration form for the 2026 Rally.  If at all possible, please use the link to register for the rally as it makes the process much simpler because the USCA Treasurer will be out of the country for several weeks and getting checks deposited and information entered onto the rally spreadsheet will be delayed.

Here is the online rally registration form: USCA 2026 Rally Registration Form

@thane-lewis Just checked using the reservations and all the cabins are showing RED. According to DYRT this location is currently closed and has been all year, so that might have something to do with it

@none I spoke with John Stubbs when the question was brought up.  Cabins are not all rented - call them M-F 8 - 5 central to book cabins.

Oh.....the Humanity of not waiting for your friend, Miles, to make the reservations for you...and for Thane & Karen.

Steve, you now have a Hillside cabin all fully reserved for you....you are in Cabin # 451, as in Fahrenheit 451

And @thane-lewis, you and Fiona also have a fully reserved cabin, and are in Cabin # 455...a brand new cabin with a Shrek sized bed.

All reservations are made, completed, and you ARE expected to be there.

Thank you, Miles.  We arrived home today from Minneapolis and Fiona’s Mother’s funeral over the weekend.  A little over 9.5 hours driving with an eyes closed stop in Iowa to reset my brain.  Thankfully our house and dog sitter left a pot of spaghetti ready for weary travelers.

I’m still working on longer sidecar operations following my summer adventures, but based on the automobile successes, I should be ok for 400 mile days on it by next summer!

In fact, yes, a Rallymaster has been selected/appointed.  Steven Brown is perusing the Great And Piewerful Rally Handbook at present.  I will ask him to pop in here and introduce himself for the benefit of all.

He, or She, whom shall be chosen...step forward...please.

Hi

Miles, you beat me to that question, we are looking to secure the same camping spot we had last time.

already starting to put things together for it.

Have others called in for the reservations? On-line does not seem available.

Best to call John at CMA Iron Mountain campgrounds to make your reservation. They have build more cabins since our last rally there. They also have shaded primitive camp sites, full-service RV - travel trailer spots and... an area to park your rig hauling trailer for those who haul...

As an added bonus, if you buy a rig for sale there and cannot transport it immediately, chances are good that you would be able to store it on site, indoors with very conscientious minders.  Ask me how I know!
