@aceinsav I was not a member of this forum when I posted teasers, and then more detailed information about the Rally. I am in Maine. I believe that, in Maine, the largest group of sidecar drivers are Ural drivers. I am a member of SS as my first sidecar rig was a Dnepr/BMW conversion. I know there are other sidecar drivers in Maine, they just don't have a community presence like the Ural guys. So, in an effort to get the word out to the most sidecar drivers, I went to the site of the largest community of sidecar drivers in Maine. Unlike some, I do not look down on Urals or their drivers. I host an annual Sidecar Social in August. I get more Ural drivers than others, about 75%. I had fourteen rigs attend the Social this past August. There is no one place to announce to the general sidecar community. Since I am now a member of the USCA, I will now post sidecar content here as well as ADVRider and SidecarUSA. If anyone has any other places to reach out to please let me know.

I totally get what you are saying and like you don't look down on any rig or rider. I personally more than apricate what you're doing to promote the rally. The only thing that is being questioned here is that this forum is considered by many as the official USCA forum dedicated to our members and non members alike. I think we are just a bit miffed (if that is the right word) that we are getting info second hand from other sites and not here directly from the Rally Master or a representative for him. I guess with all the far-reaching sites scattered out there it shouldn't be a surprise, it's just not what we are used toΒ Β

Ace @aceinsav, I just reached out to our El Presidente' that is currently in Spain, shooting photography around the Iberian Peninsula, and he confirmed to me that the DATE.....and the LOCATION....are indeed correct for the 2025 USCA National Sidecar Rally.

Therefore, the official dates are June 12 - 15th

The official location is Topsham fairgrounds, Topsham, Maine.

Based on that information, and from whom I received the information from, I will be making my plans, and reservations.

They are still working out the fine, and finite details, such as pricing and activities, etc....but those things don't usually get settled until 3.14 months prior to the event, so.......

Long distance sidecarists and sideczarists can now make travel plans.

Oh ...and I don't believe that there is ANYONE on these Sidecar forums that truly has a grievance against ANY brand of motorcycle or Sidecar rig. Some of us like to playfully tease others, but generally that is because we have met....we have shaked hands...we have shared meals....and we don't have thin skin.

Whilst there are particular brands of motorcycles and/or Sidecar rigs I would not own, I still have great respect for ALL Sidecar rigs, and the folks that own them.

Even.... Screaming Yellow Zonker BMW rigs.....yes, even that one. basic_smile Β

When I am at a motorcycle gathering, or a Sidecar gathering, I take the time to carefully look over each and every motorcycle and Sidecar rig to see how they look, how they have been assembled or attached, what items they have added to their rig that might be useful for my own rig. Whether it's a Ural, orΒ  H-D....I am interested in seeing what others have, what they ride or drive, where they are from, etc.

I have edited the first post in this thread to reflect what is determined to be official 2025 USCA Rally Information.Β  I expect that Tom will be along soon to create the official 2025 Rally Thread and this one can slip away into obscurity.

Whilst waiting for the "official" 2025 USCA National Sidecar Rally thread to be started, by the Rallymaster Tom...I have now made my hotel reservations for our stay during the Sidecar Rally, at the Comfort Inn, in Brunswick, Maine.

As FM indicated, start making your lodging reservations for June 12-15th in the Topsham area. Google Map shows there are several communities with good lodging options nearby. Try Hotel.com to search.

There are some RV spots on the Fairgrounds. Β Tent camping spots will also be available for a very low cost, if not free.

@michael-lydon, this is the link....above....for the TopshamΒ  FairgroundsΒ  FAIR.....IΒ  emphasize theΒ  word FAIR.

Whilst the campingΒ  informationΒ  during the annualΒ  FAIR says No Tent Camping.....let'sΒ  keep in mind that theΒ  rule forΒ  NO Tent Camping isΒ  more likelyΒ  in placeΒ  during theΒ  annualΒ  FAIR.

If the USCA rents the TopshamΒ  FairgroundsΒ  for our 2025 National Sidecar Rally,Β  there is a huge probability that youΒ  folks that are Tent Campers will beΒ  allowed toΒ  camp within the FairgroundsΒ  property.Β

Believe....and it shallΒ  happenΒ  !

Greetings Riders!Β  Rookie Rallymaster Tom finally checking in here!Β  Yes the dates are June 12-15 at the Topsham Fairgrounds in Topsham, ME.Β  Β Get ready to explore and enjoy the land of lobsters, lighthouses and L.L. Bean!Β  Β Looking at some of the questions on this forum yes, there are showers, tent camping is allowed and will be included in the registration fee.Β  A limited number of water and electric and full hookup RV sites are available.Β  Details are being finalized and will be posted on the website soon along with registration information, instructions for campsite reservations, etc., etc.Β  Lots of good riding in Maine and lots of things to do if you want to plan your extended vacation.Β  Each peninsula you choose to explore holds a new hidden treasure including lobster shacks, lighthouses and more.Β  For those of you who enjoy ice cream rides you might be interested to know that Maine has more ice cream stands per capita than any state in the nation.Β  I'm also working to set up an opportunity to visit one of the finest BMW collections in the USA if not the world which includes a number of racing sidedcars, including a couple of BMW Rennsports, a sidecar rig that held multiple titles and dominated sidecar racing from @ 1950 - 1970.Β  Doing our best to assemble a great rally for everyone and hoping for a great turnout.Β  I know we are a bit behind folks, but believe me this will come together quickly and the information will flow.Β  In the meantime please be patient and avoid speculation from the rumor mill!Β  With that I say to everyone have a wonderful Holiday Season!Β  Ride safe, ride often, and start making plans to ride to the 2025 USCA Rally in Topsham, Maine.

For the beer drinkers and smokers. Is that going to be allowed at the fairgrounds. There being rallies held at Fairgrounds that doesn't allow it.Β

I have a question for the rally master. For those of us camping in tents how early can we set up in the fairgrounds? I have a niece in Bath, well she works at the Bath shipyard building Forest Sherman class destroyers, and I would like to take a day to hang out with her and her husband.

Just a bit of info may interest some. The Fairgrounds is just ten miles from the L.L. Bean Flagship store.
