I've decided to try my hand at making cool looking things but I need materials.

I want your old box of bits for mechanical art pieces.  Looking for gears, sprockets, chains, old wrenches, etc.  If you ever looked at it and went that's kind of neat looking, I want it.

Items don't have to be perfect.  Broken teeth, boogered wrenches, busted chains.  It's all going to be welded into a artistic heap anyway.

USPS doesn't have weight limits on their Priority Mail boxes.  Stuff one full and I'll pay the shipping.

Thanks,

Drew

Drew- great idea! Where are you located? I have some stuff that I'd donate. In 2010 I was at the national BMW rally in John Day OR. It was also the Bigfoot Sidecar club rally. The door prizes were made with spare parts and who ever created those was very talented.

This is what I made and put over the door in my shop. Simple but I like it. I've dreamed bigger but haven't built bigger.

That eagle is cool.

I'm in Marysville, PA.  Send me an email and I'll send my address if you have stuff to donate.

I'll get with you after the holidays when things settle down for the carriers.
