Could someone direct me to pictures or articlesΒ  on how to build and where to attach a subframe for BMW K1100. I have seen pictures of complete rigs but no clear pics on where to attach or what to make it out of. Sidecars are new to me, instead of buying complete rig I would like to use the bike I have and attach a car to it. Thanks

Welcome, Greg!

If you look at the upper right of the page in technical/mechanical discussion, there is a magnifying glass.Β  I put in a search for k1100 and the following thread came up immediately under your post.Β  Might not be a perfect match, but one never knows.Β  K1100 are pretty old by now and some of the intervening years may have diminished the relevant posts.

Alternately, there is a thread on "the other site" that is likely by the same OP:

Another option would require some digging as the files aren't all indexed but there are the technical archives on our site:

There are a few people on this forum with K100/1100 tugs and may have insight.Β  Welcome the the wacky world of offset 3 wheeeeeeeelers!

Thanks for the info, followed a few links and found some good pictures, now to decide to build or buy a complete rig.
