Hi Sheath, I had a good look at my bike and the attachment point look the same. The photos you sent are brilliant and solves my problem. I must say in my humble opinion, you have made an excellent job of attaching you sidecar. If I can manage as good a job, I will be very confident my chair won't part company with the bike. My missus said to tell you "thank god for your help" sounds like I will now have no problem getting her into the chair. Getting her out might be a different story! BTW, you went to a lot of trouble removing the engine guard to get good photos. If you ever get to Ireland, I'll get you plenty of pints of the "black stuff" flying monkey is staying very quiet, he must have gone to one of the German festivals 😊

Nein, no German festivals.Β  Just picked up my Euro-Wing sidecar rig yesterday,Β  that was shipped from the US to Heidelberg,Β  Germany.Β

Today isΒ  almost a day off....grocery shopping at two stores, getting the Sena headsets all charged up, getting both of our GarminΒ  GPS units fully charged,Β  then satellites acquired.Β  When installed on the bike,Β  and the other one installed in the sidecar,Β  both GPS's have power to them from the bike's system.Β

This next week is all planned out, a different direction each day.

Right On Joe!Β  I'm really looking forward to see what you do. 👍Β  Fabrication is such a cool part of the hobby. Definitely glad to play a small part in your success.

I can't take credit for the build of SYZ. It was purchased already built.Β  The sub frame was purchased through DMC, and the whole package was assembled by a gentleman who worked at a BMW dealership.Β Β  So I get the advantage of his knowledge, along with a competent bike and sidecar unit.Β  😎Β

Well Sheath, you are very honest, I would have had no problem taking the credit. I'd love to be flying monkey scooting around the German countryside. I hope the weather is good, not like here. They say it rains twice a week in Ireland, first for three days, and then for four days! Lovely country but it would be nicer if they could put a roof over it😁

Is it my imagination or did I get elevated to "trusted member"? If I did I can't wait to get home and tell the missus. She will be very proud of me. She might even lend me her impact wrenchΒ

Impact wrench is better than a "rolling pin".
