Adjustments/mods for very high speeds?

I plan to test my Gold Wing rig to see just how fast it might go. I have no idea, really, maybe 115-120, hopefully a little more(?).

I plan to add a steering damper (it has never had head shake, but just in case), but wonder if I should adjust the lean out (i.e. more).

I presume at highter speeds it will start pulling to the right. I do have TILT, but not sure I want to raise the car up at high speeds--seems like poor aerodynamics.

Woiuld appreciate any thoughts/ideas.

Adding the damper is probably a good idea in this instance just in case.
I know of some rigs that have developed a tank slapper at high speed that had no propensity for head shake at normal highway speeds.
I have done over a ton with my Turbo RK/Spyder many times without any ill effects. It had a damper attached just in case. No tilt though.

Greg,
I really don't think you'll find it to be that big of a deal.

Claude, that is my perception as well, however, kinda don't want to find out I was wrong without at least having done a minimal bit of research.

I have a very minor concern that at a higher speed, if I have to correct too much for the pulling (to the right), that I could get rear tire slippage on the salt. Don't really expect this will be an issue, but don't have many sources of info.

I have noticed on the Wing that at higher freeway speeds (80-85) that the TILT will often no longer completely compensate for the pull. I plan to increase the lean out a bit before our next long trip (Alaska), since it is so easy to do.

thx

greg

By keeping tabs on the sidecar tire tread wear pattern you can also see whether the tilt or tweaking the toe in is the best option for achieving your desired neutral steering.

i've found that the faster i go,the more wind drag on the right.......

when rolling from az to wa,had a heck of a headwind.....left hand was gettin wooped,so i stop and let the lean out some more till it gets neutral.....tilt would be nice i bet.
thats next after the links.

could hit a buck and a quarter with the 03 adv outfit.
pretty dern stable too......go for it,

what would the duke do?
