@scott-h, your supermutress monkey needs a pair of bright YELLOW doggles, so we can easily see her in the sidecar.

What is her name, or do you just call her....Boss Monkey ?

BlackJack Miles of Smiles is her registered name (to go along with her future career as a volunteer therapy dog), Miles for short.

She has a pair of bright blue goggles she is growing into.  When the speeds exceed 20 mph, she'll be wearing them.  👍

@miles-ladue

I've gone around the world on my GSA, North to South and East to West but only toured the U.S. in the sidecar.

We've always shipped our bikes from British Columbia to Manchester or Paris. Use to cost about 1,800 to fly each bike so it was far less expensive that renting. The cost to now fly the bikes is out of sight. Far beyond my budget.

Curious how you ship your rig to/from Europe.

Rgds./Doug

Doug, I shipped it from Olympia, Washington to Ocala, Florida via Haulbikes.......then from Orlando, Florida to Heidelberg, Germany via Knopf Tours.

Last weekend at Ocean Shores with an old riding buddy. Went to the Garage Gastro pub as well. Wasn't so interested in the crowds but Hog-Wild does draw a lot of riders. Got some exposure for selling.

It went without me but good to see it out there.

Old mate had a bad fall and a rough trip after.

The sidecar was my build a while back.

Only clearly seen the last minute or so.

Dane, we had a high of 70* F today.  Laughing Out Loud

Question....when it gets that hot down there.....does the Skunk's "hollow" start to stink  ????

Does this mean what we have all been anticipating.....that due to the excessive heat and stink in Skunk Hollow you have finally had enough, and are going to be moving up to THEE Great Pacific Northwest, close to where you Son lives in Oregon, close to where your Leading Link builder lives in Oregon, close to where Ned lives in Washington, close to where LBS-USA is located in Washington, and close to me....in Washington.

We, The People, have been talking about this, and came to the conclusion that you are afraid.....afraid I say....of TREES, because they block your view whilst driving BBTSG at madman speeds, so you live in the desert so that you can always see through the next curve or bend on the dusty/dirty/rocky trail, rather than slow down just enough to have to see what is on the other side of that danged tree that is blocking your view.

Oh, The Humanity  !  Scared

Or...is it because you are afraid.....afraid I say....that word has reached you that THEE Great Pacific Northwest is now ground zero for building all the current HAT-ASR's....Honda Africa Twin - Adventure Sidecar Rigs, and you are concerned that if you brought BBTSG up to the sidecar building capital of the greatest adventure sidecar rigs known to Sasquatch, you would be left in the mud (we have no dry dirt up here) ?????

Just imagine, if you will, bringing BBTSG to a region of the World where it would stay cleaner (looking) because of the relatively constant rainfall that would wash BBTSG, and you could take ferry rides up to and back from Alaska with a fellow HAT-ASR owner, and his rig known as the AK-Griz, whilst the two of you CLAW your way around Alaska.

Oh...did I lose you for a moment there ?  Were you removing a cactus thorn from a prickly pear cacti ???

Razz

Bruce, I can tell you why, because I know all the inside secrets...

The overheated bloke from Skunk Hollow is currently unemployed/a wannabe retired dude. But he is thinking he may need to go back to work, so....what better place to live than where 63.14 % of the employers that hire for his specialized skills are in the PNW (Pacific Northwest)

Since he is living in his own home, which is a different home than where his wife lives, why not live 1300 miles away from her, rather than just 130 miles away from her, so sell that hot/stinky house in Skunk Hollow, and for that money he can buy a nice place in the country outside of Eugene, Oregon, close to his Leading Link builder, that he can coordinate with this metal fabricator to build a completely new subframe, and sidecar frame for BBTSG, to replace the abomination that the "former" DMC absolutely screwed the pooch on.

Given that he is aging, as are "most" of us, yet he is still younger than "most" of us, his skin will look less wrinkled if he leaves Skunk Hollow, Arid-Zona, and moves up to Oregon or Washington, and plumps up all those dried out wrinkles in his skin, with the Oregon Mist that we live with most of the year.

Oregon has no Sales Tax, so it is better than Washington, so...I will begin a property search for The Man From Skunk Hollow to find him a place just outside Eugene, Oregon, so he is close to his metal fabricator, close to his Son, his grandchildren, and far away from his wife.

I could go on, and mention political issues, etc, but...will stop here

Well that is a lot to consider!  BTW, the lad is now in Peru on a long term assignment, so one less reason to move north 🤣 .

As a bribe, to get you to move from Arid-Zona, if you were to move to THEE Great Pacific Northwest,  I would personally fund the two of us flying down to Peru once each year, for a 2 weeks visit with your prodigal Son, whilst we also rent CB500X bikes to find Dora, The Explorer.

We camped for a few days to check things out before the PenNy Hackers Campout in Cook Forest, PA While talking with the camp host he mentioned that his 5 year-old granddaughter was ready to take a ride this year. She declined our offer last year. Brought along her younger cousin and we took a ride around and around and around the campground. They laughed and giggled the entire time. Slid down in the seat so they could hide from the parents and "scare them" when we stopped. lol8
