Haven't rode as much as I planned but got some more rides into town for chores. It's amazing how much can be loaded from the hardware store into that car and trunk and get some fun looks. Meanwhile we took a trip to the desert to meet up with some other land sailors on the Alvord playa. 12 x 7 miles of flat dry lake bed. I'll add a couple pics later.
Quite a story about this trip as any should have. Went for a walk to look at the stars again and were surprised when we thought there seemed to be a lot of light pollution to the North. As our eyes adjusted and some familiar flashes reminded us of the stronger light show from the Aurora Borealis witnessed a few weeks ago on the Coast, a very strong one. We were pleasantly surprised and fortunately Marty snapped one of the few pictures we remembered to take. Here are a few we did get, including Dragon on his side board. With all the speed records I wondered about the fastest sidecar team top speed?
