Sorry to hear this Miles, hope she bounces back to full health soon!

Well Miles. I'm not sure how but to date had missed all the health issue's your wife has had lately.Β This of course takes precedence over the financial loss as well as the missed joint adventures.Β
I had a shadow of your stresses earlier this year when the wife of 41 yrs woke me at 2am in distress and needing a hospital visit pronto. The issue was sorted over a couple of weeks but another bout of that flu slowed her for a few more weeks.Β
So I understand a little of your situation but not much.
I will be praying for you both.

Hay Miles
Just seen this thread, dang it indeed!!!
Never much to be said really except do what needs to be done for your good lady and sometimes all you can do is watch and hope.
You know some of my history so good health can and does return. As crazy as it sounds attitude is everything that one was shared with me by chemo nursesΒ back in 2019; if anyone knows they do for sure.
Sending the good stuff to you both =)

Hold my keyboard and watch this! π

Thanks toΒ ALL.Β She isΒ much betterΒ today,Β getting herΒ meds straightenedΒ out. We are conversingΒ withΒ 2 doctorsΒ regarding theΒ possibleΒ need for aΒ pacemaker.Β
#1: no one everΒ knowsΒ howΒ long they willΒ live, because.......stuff happensΒ !
#2: IΒ haveΒ acceptedΒ for theΒ longest time,Β that more likely thanΒ not,Β IΒ willΒ outlive herΒ by many years.Β
JustΒ live theΒ best life you can,Β whilst you.Β

Sheβs put up with you. She can deal with this. Lol glad sheβs doing better. That makes me happy

Time passes differently in hospital waiting rooms.Β I have not done a lot of riding in the last 3 years for a similar situation.Β So when I say "I'm pulling for you" , it's from a level of understanding that I wish I didn't have.Β Β Just know you're not traveling the road alone.

I hear that loud and clear. I have an old Ipad mini with Sudoku on it. Passes time waiting for appointments and procedures.

Keeping you both in my thoughts and the good stuff is flowing 24/7. Surgery has changed a LOT and become far less invasive and easier to tolerate and recover from even for an old fart like me. Surgical robots are your friend for sure.
Huggs an smiles to you both

Yesterday wasΒ her 66th birthday.....althoughΒ she isΒ really notΒ big on celebratingΒ birthdays.Β

Keep us posted.Β We're all rooting for you both. Chloe was especially shaken.Β Despite us never meeting in person we've grown fond of you.

Continuing prayers for your wife, Miles!Β Tim's mom as well!

The saga continues. The shop got a replacement. Installed it. Asked me if it was OK if they drove it for a few days to make sure everything was good. Put 4 miles on the new transmission. And it absolutely fried the clutches for third and fourth period and nearly welded the gears together. So it is back in the shop. It has been for about a month now. Iβm getting frustrated
