Ronnie, you may be right that the "wobble" you are experiencing is nothing more than you feeling all the imperfections in the road surface as the sidecar tire rolls over them. As the sidecar "bounces" over the road, you will feel all that, as you sit on the bike. It took me a while to get used to that sensation when I first was learning to drive my rig. The suggestions to practice in large, empty parking lots are great. No trash bins to worry about.

@guha-ronniegmail-com I have no advice as to trailer recommendations, but I do have 34 years of sidecar driving and attaching experience. I thoroughly enjoyed your thread it brought back many fond memories of my initial foray into side caring. I attached a Velorex 562 to a Yamaha XS650 because my youngest son now 44 kept falling asleep on the passenger pillion. I'm sure the Corgis will enjoy it probably more than you.
Thanks for the memories.

@dedsled You are right. In south florida, of course, I cannot practice on the twisties like I did using a RE Himalayan on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Thus far, I am practicing 1-2 hrs on side roads and in neighborhoods where I have to turn constantly. I think that in a few months, I will have enough practice (and courage) to take my dogs with me (or at least one dog - the one that's always up for fun)

The only time have I have nnoticed a wobble is when the sidecar is out ofalignment. Maybe I'm just not sensitive enough to notice

I've seen Yangtse river combinations many times ( ex army bikes ) thrown together as fast as possible to make a fast buck, but this one was built with great care and pride in workmanship. It is hand made. It really is motorcycle from times gone by. I am proud to own it.

Ronnie, The best sidecar was German made in WW2, and initially used on the BMW R71, amongst others. It is the classic that none other comes anywhere near come close to, it is still being made and used to this day.

Mick, after 5 individual posts above, all which could have been shared in ONE post, it was obvious by the 5th post, and your declaration quoted above, that you must have been hitting the bottle tonight. Too far East for you to be drinking Yukon Jack, so what was the Canadian drink of choice ?

@mick-boon OMG. That rig looks amaaaazing. Does it come in black as well? The BMW R71 looks super awesome as well.
My boy already likes the sidecar, so now, papa has to figure out where the two of us can go together.. man! I wish I was back in North Carolina now.. so many places to go to..
As predicted, my girl didn’t take to the sidecar.. tried to come over to the bike to be near papa. I still have one solution left to try with her - a backpack with her on my back.. shorter rides with plenty of breaks to give papa’s back a break.
BTW when you ride with your dog(s) how many hours a day do you guys usually ride and what speed? I’m brand new to motorcycle hence have no idea about anything..
Thank you

I've only had 2 pups on my bikes.
Both small and started in my coat or shirt.
Restraints can be necessary to keep dogs in place.
I would hope having 2 together would settle the less confident one??
Saw a lovely white CJ750 outfit on Friday.
Will make a point of a picture next time it turns up for the coffee shop meet.

I'm sad to say that my kidney stone will not pass. The charge nurse said its the biggest she has ever seen. I think it's because I have big balls. Ballas of steel !
