Duncan, so sorry to hear about the rig taking a beating, but am glad you are okay. Have admired that rig from afar, and inspected up close. Is a beautiful set up.
Did the sidecar take all the impact? Any damage to the front forks?

Sure glad you were not injured Duncan. Best of luck with the repairs.

Morning Duncan,
Glade you made it home. I'm volunteering at Carillon Park in Wright Brothers tomorrow 9-1. If you need anyone to stop by and kick tires. Or whatever.

CCjon: As far as I can tell sidecar took most of the impact - M/C forks and frame seem to be ok but I haven't had it thoroughly inspected yet. Left side pannier and mounts took a bit of a beating and muffler is toast - especially after we used a crowbar to pry it off the rear wheel. 😁
Swampfox: I did end up with a broken rib [doctor: "Take tylenol and suck it up - you'll feel better in a few weeks"], a few assorted sprains and bruises, and a severely damaged ego. Time has solved all but the ego problem.
Dave: Today was filled with household chores - hope we can get together later.
BTW, I owe a big thanks to the other folks from the Greater Cincinnati BMW Club who were on the ride - they managed to get me and the rig up on the road and made sure I got home ok.
Thanks
Duncan

Nice looking rig. I especially like the idea of the door. Saves the doggies from a jump.

Quite the fleet Jack! Nice.

Myself on the top of the Panamerican highway in Costa Rica. Until 10-12 years ago all trucks towards Panama were obligated to cross here.

The hill in the background is much more impressive, once you notice there are people standing at the top!
