Spent too much time observing the sun out in the cold yesterday. (That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! 🤣 ).

Yes it is seemly to congratulate the milestones in life.
Retirement is a big one for your wife.
So well done on a productive life and may she continue to enjoy the fruits of her labour.
Still are you sure you want to have her messing with your food at this stage?
My wife may or may not stay retired at this stage.
After this trip to Cambodia she will look at her options.
Find a job probably part time.
Try her hand at something photography related to use her diploma.
One strange option is to claim a job search allowance and do 15 hrs a week as a volunteer.

Bruce, my wife is also a very good photographer. Even had some of her pictures shown in a Natural History museum, many years ago.
If she does anything, other than ignore me, she has thought about taking pictures digitally, and posting them on one of the websites, for people to pick 'n choose from, so they can print them out, or collect them on their own computers. She likes the idea of taking pic of the Heeland Coooos
We have already agreed that the inside of our flat at the olde Benedictine Abbey will be decorated with pictures of Heeland Coooos.
