Well well well…my new 100% daily driver now!
Well, just did this…now I can stop driving my gas hog of a Toyota Sequoia to go biking everyday!
The “lower” straps wouldn’t allow the trunk to latch when in place…so I need figure that out, or just keep them on the side.
I still need to tidy the straps up.
Imagine I wake up and the fiberglass shell of the sidecar is just all tore apart from the stress…
Very cool!
Every day the 4 wheeled vehicle can stay parked is a great day. 👍
Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃
The rack I built for the bicycle is attached to the frame of the car.. I do notice a huge wind resistance.. One wouldn't think so as most of the bike is hollow but it is there. For the distance I go it is not a big deal but it would be if I went further. Thinking of a re-design so the bike is in line with the air flow instead of facing sideways. We'll see.
Your's might not be as much as a problem as the bike is mostly protected from the sidecar.
@mgv8 your rig sure is awesome! I haven’t actually went on any drives with my bike attached, yet…but I am curious how my resistance will be.
