I have a sidecar that gets little use now that my daughter is old enough to ride on the back of my Electra Glide.
My question is would it be easier to sell the sidecar alone or as a full rig?
It's a Texas Sidecar "Ranger" mounted to my trusty 1980 Suzuki GS1000GT.
I purchased it 6 years ago and put maybe 500 (s)miles on it.
I lean towards keeping the bike ( I have had it since new ) and sell just the sidecar but not sure if there is a market.

Next to "Sweet Classic", I like the looks of the "Texas" I wouldn't think you would have problems selling either way. Good luck and ride safe.

There's always a market for reasonably priced sidecars. An unattached sidecar sells much sooner than a sidecar outfit.

Sold a Shadow 750/Velorex rig last month. Had listed it as complete or separate. Received about the same amount of calls for each way but ended up selling it together.
One thing I found out is that folks are not willing to accept the cost of rigging or subframes that are involved.
If you're trying to sell both maybe it'll be easier together.
I agree with Mr Lonnie . I wish I lived closer but believe shipping would probably put it out of range . I'm looking at a complete rig at the moment but Texas would look good on my vtx1300. Ride safe
I think if you can afford to keep the sidecar you should. You will miss it once it is gone. If you can afford the space and to keep it, set it aside. Other wise in a few years you will be looking to buy another sidecar.

Does the GS have modified steering? If so, then you would need to mod it back to factory for solo riding. You'll need to factor that into the cost.
