Here is a thread for you to post your favorite sidecar related sayings... like...

When I can no longer pilot my sidecar, I'll trade it in for a crotch rocket.

Hellracer.NL  posted this today on another forum:

"And as we say in the Netherlands:
Sidecar riding is motorcycle riding for advanced riders."

What is your favorite sidecar saying?

Oh, the USCA is a family organization, so keep them clean.

You can't put a sidecar on that.

Lately my favorite saying has been a lot of "Uh OH!!!!!!" right after saying; "Hold my keyboard and watch this!"

Next most used saying is "Yep!" 🙂  Usually when at a stop and someone says "I bet that's a lot of fun!"

Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

Well, I suppose my fav was when I was anywhere with any of my three K-9 co-pilots and someone would walk up and ask if they could take the pup's picture, I'd say, "You're the first person who ever asked me that. But yeah, I guess so." "Oh! Really?"

Or when Archie was still with me little kids would run up and ask if they could pet him. "He usually eats little kids, but he just had a couple so I think he's full now." They'd either laugh and start petting or their eyes would get big and they'd back away.

Not exactly what you had in mind but I can't think of any particular sidecar sayings...

I tell kids all the time. It is more fun than a carnival ride.  And  you don't have to be 3 feet tall or have a ticket.

Smitty, you make me think of all the times I'd ride in the Reardan Mule Days parade with Archie. I've done that with Petey as well and Henry between those two. But with Archie, we lived just a mile and a half out of town so I'd run Archie home, put the people seat in the sidecar and go back into town after the parade. I was driving school bus here at the time so I knew lots of the kids. I'd pull up to a corner near the local park where many other Mule Days activities were taking place and give kids rides in the sidecar. A parent, grandparent or other person who had the authority had to give permission for this to happen and the length of the ride depended on the situation but the line would grow. I wouldn't stop until every kid who wanted a ride had the chance. That was usually long after I was ready to stop. I stopped doing that after my wife convinced me that the liability was too great a risk. And yes, I had a spare helmet for the kids. It was fun while it lasted....

One saying come to mind from late last year. Posting with permission from DREW and special THANKS to Andrew and Miles.

Mastering a motorcycle takes PRACTICE.   Mastering a sidecar takes WISDOM.

Payton responding to LEO that ask how she liked riding in the sidecar.  She said I guess you could say I grew up in one so it normal for me.

A car pulled up next to me the other day at a stop light. I heard, "Hey handsome". I thought I was going to get lucky. But when I looked over she was talking to "Sidecar Wille".  He get all the girls,,,,lol.

I'm going to go for a "least Favorite Sidecar Saying"

Q:    "Are you willing to separate and just sell the car?"

A:   (What I would like to respond)  "No, you nitwit.  If you're trying to have a quick release car so you can switch back and forth and only have one bike, you really shouldn't be doing this."

A:   (What I actually respond)  "No."

Inexperienced 2 wheel driver Ural saying " That tub drive will only get you 50 feet further down the road before it gets you in Trouble".   Ha.   That's what my 100 foot hand winch is for.

Today is National Joke Day! 🤩

In honor of this auspicious occasion here is a joke, slightly modified to fit the sidecar theme:

My Sidecar IQ test results came back... NegativeShocked

Hope your day is full of fun and laughter, because laughter is great medicine.  Cool

Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

Scott, adjust the camber control on your sidecar rig to be a little more positive, or....get the toe-in adjusted.
