2009 Moto Guzzi California Vintage with Motorvation Spyder Sidecar.  This sidecar rig is VERY well sorted out and includes:Motorvation Spyder sidecar:  This is among the last sidecars sold by Motorvation (of Sibley Iowa) before they stopped production.  The sidecar was professionally installed, tested, and     adjusted by the chief fabricatorv of Motorvation.   The sidecar features professionally done custom 3-coat pearl white paint to match the Guzzi CalVin, a custom fitted Guzzi fender to match the CalVin front fender, a professional made tonneau cover that     matches the seat, and an LED stop/tail light.

2009 Moto Guzzi California Vintage

-completely rebuilt and polished front forks (seals, springs, bushings)

 -Upgraded Shindengan rectifier/regulator

-New front and rear disc brake pads

 -AGM battery

-5 degree trail reducing custom triple tree made by Machine and Design of Glen Ellyn IL.

-Matris Steering Damper

 -7:33 Guzzi LeMans rear drive

  -Guzzi alloy TUBELESS spoked rims

-LED headlight, tail/stop light, signals and instrument lights

    -Kuryakyn LED voltmeter

-CORBIN solo seat with backrest (has a couple of small stains)

     -decent tires (Purchased in 2020)

      -fresh oil, filter

-trans lube, brake fluid, rear drive lube, driveshaft spline lube all replaced within the past 3 years.

The Guzzi CalVin has 9500 miles, and performs flawlessly in all respects.  The bike had about 7700 miles when I purchased it in 2020.  All of the miles since I bought it are sidecar miles.

The cosmetics of the bike and the sidecar are outstanding.  The rig has always been garaged, and I don’t believe it has ever see rain since I have owned it.  The images tell the story.

ALSO INCLUDED:  Factory service manual and parts manual          (printouts), original owner’s manual, all of the original parts (seat, side cases, luggage rack, crash bars, etc) OEM triple tree, OEM rear drive, OEM chrome steel spoked wheels, a          NEW spare Guzzi windshield, and lots of other assorted spares.

This is the third hack I have owned (all Guzzi), and it definitely

handles the best.  The rear end gives it great shift points and

lots of low end “grunt”.  It pulls like a freight train!   The custom

triple tree and quality Matris damper eliminates any head shake

and makes it feel like it has power steering!

I have been working on Guzzis for the past 15 years or so, sorting

out/restoring everything from an early Ambassador to a Convert

to a Jackal.  This rig was my last build, and the one in which I

have the most pride.  At age 74 I don’t ride it enough, and it

is time to move it on to another home where it can be ridden and

             loved.

Asking $11,800 cash.  I have about 13K into it, but am not looking to make a profit.  Located in Clinton, Iowa (Clinton is about 2.5 hours due west of Chicago.  I'm not sure how to add images to this post, but I have about 20 images available.  Email me at wguntzel@gmail.com and I will send them to you.

Wguntz, one of the "moderators" will be along any minute now, to tell you exactly what I am going to tell you in this post....that once you have 3 posts on this forum you are cleared to post pictures. It's simply a security measure, and...we..the people...would LOVE to see pictures of your sidecar rig for sale.

Reply to my post, then you are 2/3rds the way there. Best of fortune in selling your well-assorted rig.

In your description you said it was "very well sorted".  Then, reading your description, yes, it sounds like it's not just "well sorted" but is indeed "VERY well sorted".  Good luck with the sale.  Adding some pics for you.

Did you powdercoat all the struts? Because they look very cool that way!

The struts are "rattle-can" hammered gold with a clear coat.   Thanks!
